It might be a few months late, but here is the new layout I've been experimenting with this summer for my home games. We don't really know what S35 holds, but if the show's wheel doesn't change, this one is what I'm going to be using. I went back to the late 90s-early 00s layout, where the 2nd bankrupt was 3 wedges to the right of the TDV, making the wheel more symmetrical with respect to penalty spaces. I have discontinued the use of Gift Tags, in lieu of the Insurance tag, since with both of them on the wheel, it's just cardboard-pick-up overload. Let me know what you guys think! If you look at my old threads, you'll see the other layouts I've done. I've only included the bare wheel, and the R1 layout. The 1/2 wedge is for solo games--for multi player games, it's the normal LAT. The R2, R3, R4 and R5+ layouts are the same as my old layouts---with $3500/Mystery (R2), $5000/$3000 (<- on the pink $650) for R3 $7500/$4,000 for R4 (<- on the green $500 next to the pink $650), and $10K/$5k (<- on the pink $650) for R5. P.S. This is the new 36" wheel, the wooden pegs haven't been painted yet. I did get into contact with the fellow who had the life size wheel replica on Facebook for the Wheel giveaway of the $350 wedge, and he's giving me tips on how to finally make a larger one! Enjoy! -A

Nice way to make Lose A Turn less redundant for Solo games.
Saying that reminds me of when I play on my own with no AI on the NES, Game Boy, SNES, Genesis, Game Gear, and SEGA CD games. I sometimes do that just to feel more at ease and see just how much money I can amass with my only real opponents being the Bankrupts and the size of the puzzles. Whenever I do this, I say of the Lose/Miss Turn space that it's more like a "Waste Your Time" space.
So good thinking on your part.

I've always wanted to make a physical wheel like that. Hopefully sometime either someone will teach me or I'll learn on my own.

It takes creativity, frank, but it's not terribly difficult. I wouldn't mind helping you, and I'm sure Germanname wouldn't mind either! (He'll have to answer that not me, lol). @german, that was exactly the thought process behind that Half wedge! For solo games with my grandmother, we always were looking for ways to spice up the game and we literally tweaked everything to make it solo friendly, but were always stumped on the LAT space. When I joined these boards a few years back, I was still searching for a way, and it was only a year and a half ago that I discovered the Half Wedge on an art thread, and the rest is history! Right now, my challenge is how to implement it into the main multi-player game. Right now I added a round (I've always been partial to 5 round games, so I could squeeze in the $10k wedge). R4 is the "Double or Nothing" round, where the green $500 closest to the Lose A Turn is a green X2 wedge (found on here), and the rule is land on it and guess a consonant. Correct = double your current score. Wrong = Bankrupt! If you have no money when you hit the X2, you get to spin again, and whatever you subsequent land on would be your doubled amount, multiplied for the letters in the puzzle. I know it's a little winded, but basically, if you landed on a $500 space afterwards, and had 4 T's in the puzzle, you'd get $1,000 per T. I will be posting more of the wheel as it's updated. But on a side note for Frank & German: What tweaks have you used on your home games (either current or defunct)? -A

Well. I am updating the wheel layouts that I use currently to have different prizes and not just the standard prize wedge. Also, I am adding Super Bankrupt and Big Money to my round 4+ wheels.
