For the date, this is either from the week of January 18, 1988, or February 15, 1988, since there's a plug for Vicki Lawrence being on Super Password "next week", and those were the only two weeks between January and May 1988 where she played. Also, there's a plug for Win, Lose or Draw being in Hawaii the same week as this Wheel episode. If anyone here knows when that was, it would pretty well lock down when this episode was from.

I'd guess February, as taking a game show on the road sounds like a Sweeps activity. The nighttime WLOD went to Hawaii during the first season as well. The nighttime week of 2/8/1988 is done at TV City and has stars from the Bring me the Head of Dobie Gillis reunion movie.

I no-lettered the first TITLE puzzle! I needed the T, but I no-lettered the second one. Interesting BR. Usually contestants in the 5-and-a-vowel era would get stumped if they didn't have a lot of letters showing in one word, but she got that one right away. |
