Also the last episode with the 1994-97 "Big Band" theme and logo. It was an interesting transition period in terms of the backdrops behind the contestants, with the flowering trees also seen during College Week the following season, though Season 15 had another set of backdrops unique to its season with a pattern of bronze, arched tops, and crystal-like sections. You can tell though that the puzzle board operator is still adjusting to the new board in the earlier rounds. I wish the show would acknowledge the end of a season like it used to do.

Not to mention it's also the very last episode to feature the 1981-1997 wheel base  I think the base lasted longer than anything else that was in use during those 15 years (contestant backdrops, theme music, puzzle board borders...) |
