Some information I decided to compile for future contestants.
Here's a list of how many times letters have been used as the same letter in SAME LETTER puzzles by season.
Season 28: B: 6 C: 6 D: 3 F: 2 G: 1 H: 1 K: 1 L: 1 M: 1 P: 5 R: 2 S: 6 T: 4 W: 1
Season 29: B: 5 C: 6 D: 1 F: 5 M: 2 P: 7 S: 6 T: 2 W: 3
Season 30: B: 9 C: 4 D: 2 F: 4 G: 2 L: 1 P: 2 S: 8 T: 1 W: 1
Season 31: B: 5 C: 9 D: 1 F: 4 G: 3 L: 3 M: 2 P: 3 S: 6 T: 1 W: 2
Season 32: B: 3 C: 5 D: 1 F: 1 G: 1 H: 1 M: 2 P: 5 R: 1 S: 4 T: 1
Season 33: B: 2 C: 5 D: 4 F: 1 G: 3 H: 1 M: 2 P: 3 Q: 1 S: 6 T: 2
Season 34: B: 2 C: 4 M: 1 P: 4 Q: 1 R: 1 S: 4 T: 1 W: 1
Season 35 (so far): C: 2 S: 1
Vowels are never used as the SAME LETTER.
The following letters have never been used as the SAME LETTER since the category made its debut: J, N, V, X, Y, & Z
As of the last few seasons, the puzzles are 3 or more words. When the category was first introduced (and for the first few seasons) it sometimes only contained 2 words: CAPACITY CROWD or PRIM & PROPER
When first introduced, it was used as Toss-ups as well as main game puzzles. As of recent, it's only used in rounds 1, 2, or 3.

I'm sort of surprised they've never used "J" before. Here are some they could use:
JOLLY JOKERS & JESTERS
JANUARY JUNE & JULY

I'm a little surprised no vowels were used before the rule change for the category.
I've really surprised N has never been used as the same letter.
