The Paley Center for Media in New York City will be hosting a special event celebrating Wheel's 35 years in syndication on Wednesday, November 15, featuring Pat, Vanna, and Harry Friedman in person. There will also be a Wheel exhibit on display through December, though it seems to be little more than the Wheel Hall of Fame from their home studio.

Tickets go on sale to the general public this Thursday at noon.

The Paley Center is thrilled to celebrate the thirty-fifth anniversary of Wheel of Fortune, the most successful syndicated show in television history. Join beloved hosts Pat Sajak and Vanna White with series executive producer Harry Friedman as they take a spin through Wheel history, reliving memorable moments. They will also discuss how the game show is produced on a daily basis, as well as how the program has evolved through the decades. The evening will feature classic clips, and our panelists will take questions from the audience.

I'm happy to say that you were wrong. The event began with a video retrospective on the entire show's history, including clips from the Shopper's Bazaar pilot, the first Edd Byrnes pilot, the recently-unearthed Merv Griffin runthrough tape, and a few clips from the Chuck era episodes the Paley Center has.

It's all right. Listen, at least we know some copies exist. Funny when I saw it on Ebay 11 years ago, it didn't have a good view of the game itself. From what I recall, the Live Play logo was blue and at the center, and the Wheel of Fortune logo wasn't even present. Ever since, I've been having dreams of getting my hands on this game, known for its purple $10,000 space and pink $5000 space.

But, boy, Robert, I can't even begin tell you how happy I am to know you saw this. And it was all packaged?! Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for taking a picture of this for me! I feel like my hopes of getting this one day have just skyrocketed!
