FYI - at least one person on Facebook from the milwaukee audition received their letter on December 12th.

FYI - at least one person on Facebook from the milwaukee audition received their letter on December 12th. Yeah, Lynelle who won big last week was in the front row with me, and a couple that sat right next to me is being aired next week. Not too optimistic here. Haha!

I just got around to watching the Christmas week episodes. Lynelle sat next to me at the audition, she was a little concerned not knowing how she did, but it looks as though she did well at the audition.

I had a good feeling you guys would get a callback and hope you did amazing! That's pretty exciting to go almost straight to taping after the audition. It was a lot of fun playing along with everyone in the front row. Still holding out a tiny bit of hope, but maybe my time is in the future.

I will be able to comment further in a few days of course. I will be honest, I didn't know what was going to happen. I had read a lot about the audition process and I had some input from friends and unbelievable recommendations from one in particular. The thing I heard was to try to get in the front row, always smile, always clap and always stay positive. I had no clue what was going to happen. During the test I really seemed to rattle off a lot early, I got two categories with great ease, and then I hit a wall. I think there were 3 I left blank, 2 partials and 11 for sure. If I was let go I would have been pretty confident, but we were asked to stay which had concerned me, I figured we were on the bubble, so I left it all out there. During the second half we were, as know, asked to spin the wheel. I saw some people spinning it as if it where the price is right, swatting at flies or really just not acting it out. I will admit, I went all in and tried my best to make a spinning motion as on the show. We played, we solved, we did our Pat chat. We royally messed up the Pat chat. As we left the audition, despite wanting to originally audition as separate players, we were grouped and I thought that was it, the fumbling and bumbling. Well, 1 hour into our ride home, there was a ray of light that flashed . . . I realized that the 5 couples that were asked to stay did something new, they took our pictures again as couples, I then realized that couples were not on the bubble, but they wanted to see how we played together and our strategy in a more formal type of setting, I was given that bit of hope back. 3 hours later, while at my sons music concert, the call came in. After I say all this, I have to admit, having gone through everything, the wheel mobile, the final audition, and subsequently the show, even thought I can never get on again, I would still redo even the audition process again, it was just that much fun. Anyways, thank you for the kind words, I am fortunate yo have gone from Wheel mobile to taping in 1 month given how others have sometimes had to wait a while. Never stop chasing the dream!

I absolutely LOVE the story you shared!! Sounds like you had just as amazing of an experience as I had from the Audition process all the way through to the taping itself I do have one question for you though. Did it all seem to go by in a complete blur when you actually taped the episode itself? I keep replaying my "day in the sun" in my head and it just doesn't seem possible that it has all already happened and is now over. Just wondering what your thoughts are on that. Best of Luck to you and I cannot wait to see how you did!!! And also, WELCOME TO THE COMMUNITY!!!

The whole thing went so fast, we went in with a clear cut strategy on how we would play and how we would execute this couples game. I can comment more after airing of course. Anne & I had a short window of time to prepare and discuss. Game day was a total rush, it started and ended so fast. Given our Thursday air date, it is no secret the order we taped. Again, our process from the Wheel Mobile to taping was 35 days, it really was over before it started. The only way to get there quicker would have been to tape at the location we audition if it happened to be on locstion. I, like many of you, have been a game show fan ever since I was a kid, this was the pinnacle of it all, more comments after. -Ryan

I went from submitting my audition video August 26th last year, to getting an email and going to my actual audition at the local Doubletree on September 6th, to getting a call on September 8th saying they had a last minute cancellation and that my TAPE DATE would be September 13th and I would be an actual CONTESTANT and not just on Standby. Complete whirlwind One of the greatest moments of my life. Wish the ending of the gameplay itself would have been different, but nothing I can do about that now just enjoy the 2 trips my wife and I get to take over the next 2 years and watch the playback whenever I want Cant wait until you can give us even more details!!!

Well, it was sadly a wheel of misfortune at many times, but it was still the best time of my life. My biggest fear was how I reacted during gameplay, hahaha. Well I saw last night I was grinning from start to end, just having a good time trying to win some money. The bankrupt seemed to like us. I do have to say, I enjoyed my smirk when I buzzed in for tossup 3, knowing we were not going to get skunked. I can’t wait to return for the “contestants that only won the third tossup” week.
