Hey folks. cu here. Some of you know me as a longtime poster over at golden-road.net. If so, great, you can probably stop reading now.
If you don't know me, here's the short version: I'm cu2010, from upstate New York, will be 23...next week, actually. I first started watching Wheel many years ago, back when I was just a little kid...actually, it was the first gameshow I ever watched, way back when Vanna actually turned letters. Has it been that long already? I graduated from a tiny school called Clarkson University last May with a finance degree, and have also worked in television in the past.
Those of you who do know me know that I'm more of an "old-school" gameshow fan over the newer ones- this holds very true with Wheel as well. I'm not a big fan of a lot of the new "gimmicks"-I much prefer the older formats and sets- and haven't watched Wheel a lot over the past several years, but the Wii game recently rekindled my interest (I've become way too good at that for my own good...all that's left for me to do is to win the million), and, despite the changes, Wheel still feels largely like Wheel, unlike other classic game shows which have undergone changes recently (*cough*PriceisRight*cough*)...
Anyways, I hope to participate in some good Wheel discussion on the occasion that I actually do watch the show, and maybe even participate in some mock games here. Might even host one myself eventually, too...just gotta finish doing up graphics first. And come up with some fun puzzles. And sign Mr. Announcer's contract. That, and of course, come up with fake money to give out. Those from golden-road.net know the quality of my Price is Right mock shows and that quality would be replicated here...
On top of gameshows, I enjoy sports, especially college hockey, the NHL, and, in the summer, baseball. I am also a bit of a television nut, with some of my favorite shows being The Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men, 30 Rock, Law & Order:SVU, NCIS, The Amazing Race, among others.
Anyways, enough rambling for now...unless you like me rambling. Which I will do some more, if you desire. And I'll take an "E", please.
