Props to Ciara for not spingling in R1.
R3 was a good example of Common Letter Blindness. They let T sit way too long.
I'm still waiting for a time that someone lands on Express but doesn't get to ride because there are no consonants left.
Two letters and she guesses "TEXAS" for the first word?! Dafuq?!

I feel like everybody wins if they would just do $10K cash prize wedges like this: I mean, it's a bit cruel, but it makes fans and nostalgists happy, it technically adds something special for Big Money Week, it means the Wheel can change hands a bit more, and it can still be sponsored if they do a plug before R1. A full-size plain logo representing a $10K bonus is just unexciting.

Two letters and she guesses "TEXAS" for the first word?! Dafuq?! Maybe she thought they were using the postal abbreviation for some reason? But even then, the T would've been showing, so... yeah, dafuq?!

Not representing much of BIG MONEY for the episode, I guess.
I nailed TU1 with just the E and I’m happy everyone won something I guess.
I nailed the BR when the Cs and the Ps came up. This shouldn’t have been lost, period. And quite odd for Pat to not open the envelope immediately.

Were it not for the contestants' humor, particularly from Chris, the start to Big Money Week would've been totally lackluster. Good thing Ryan waited for the first letter of TU1 to pop up (I would've missed it with B). Too bad he didn't get to keep the sparkly green wedge - and how ironic that he picked it up on the first spin! Chris sure recovered from her bad luck early on, and Ciara and Ryan earned decent amounts as well. Did Pat have Chris spell out her name?! Well, that was funny, but her BR loss wasn't (I had it with RSTLNE). No way would TEXAS fit the first word. Interesting that if the champ loses their BR, we learn their total first (which matches what a home viewer wins) and then learn what they lost. Cool concept. My rating: 5 (Chris' hilarity bumped it up for me)

Here's how Wheel should do a Big Money Week.
1. Raise a couple of the dollar amounts (have 2 $800 spaces again or 2 $900 spaces the whole game)
2. Put $5000 in Round 3 instead of just having $3500 again.
3. Bring back for that week the Big Money Wedge that was used in Season 25.
4. Have an actually expensive car similar to the cars given out in Price is Right pricing games like 3 Strikes and Golden Road.
I understand Friedman's not to blame for the show's cheapness recently, it's obviously Sony's financial trouble that's causing it. But he has to realize he can make changes to accommodate the troubles Sony is going through. Maybe don't give away $30,000 a week on those Toss-Ups, maybe don't give away a $6,000+ trip in Round 3 every single show, or how about reducing the amount of episodes done per season from 195 to 185 or 180? But no, he chooses to put Wheel's budget in all the wrong places because he doesn't care about it anymore and probably wishes in his heart he could do only Jeopardy.

WORK SPACE
I'm pretty sure that those words show up often. Well, just the first word (In fact, WORK has shown up at least one time per season starting in season 20. It provided more losses than wins though.). The latter has shown up twice, which both resulted in a loss. I'm just following on someone's footsteps just because it's an interesting look. And it's a good way of knowing what the producers might throw at the next few months or so.
(This was all from the BAV Puzzle Compendium. Credit to mostly Bobby's Website for results. This also includes derivatives of the word.)

Phew, that took a while, didn't it?
Anyway, about the recent bonus puzzle, My dad does think that adding MY to an already difficult compound word is a bit too much. I kinda agree. But since the contestant missed with AEROSPACE and EVERSPACE, it doesn't really matter anyway.
Be sure to look out for these puzzles popping up on future bonus rounds: OFFICE WORK (Thing) BIRCH WORKBENCH (Around The House)
I'll do more of these if I don't have any schoolwork interfering me.

Actually the entire mystery round could be eliminated if they'd just heave the 10,000 Oreo on the wheel for rounds 1-3...or at least rounds 1 & 2. I was really rooting for Ryan. He was a fun contestant.

2. Put $5000 in Round 3 instead of just having $3500 again. And make Round 3 even more dependent on who wins the game? I don't think so. Instead of changing the top dollar structure and spending money on making new wedges, it might be more practical for them to put the previous rounds' top value wedges elsewhere on the Wheel as the game progresses. 3. Bring back for that week the Big Money Wedge that was used in Season 25. Logistically speaking, that wouldn't work. There are only two spots on the Wheel that support electronic wedges, and they're now both taken by Free Play and Express. Besides, it was obvious that it was only meant to be for Season 25 with its $25K top value. If it was meant to stick around longer, its values probably would have been more like $5K/$10K/$20K. 4. Have an actually expensive car similar to the cars given out in Price is Right pricing games like 3 Strikes and Golden Road. Then it would only have one envelope in the Bonus Wheel meaning it likely wouldn't get hit. They would have to "settle" for something in the $40K range, which they have done before but have always failed to give it away. Maybe don't give away $30,000 a week on those Toss-Ups, maybe don't give away a $6,000+ trip in Round 3 every single show, or how about reducing the amount of episodes done per season from 195 to 185 or 180? And hurt Wheel's ratings even more than they're already hurting? It would also be a huge blow to fans. It's already a bit of an insult to Wheel fans that Jeopardy! continues its first-run seven weeks after Wheel's finishes. If they shortened the season, they would have to go back to doing mid-season reruns in order to not air the season finale in May. Millionaire does 175 shows per season with the premiere airing the same day as Wheel and J!, but their finale usually airs only one week before Wheel's because they air two three-week periods of reruns in December-January and March-April, and the first break is "new" to markets that don't get the double run; that's when they "officially" premiere the episodes that first air in the double run early in the season.

Good point on that idea of mine making Round 3 more dependent on who wins the game. I think that idea of keeping the big money amounts on the Wheel instead of throwing them out for the rest of the game is a great idea. Of course Harry could not do the Trip Puzzle just for that week, but seeing as how it must be his favorite of all the elements he's added to the show seeing as how it's still around that's about as likely to happen as the Cleveland Browns being Super Bowl champions next season. 2. Well that's easy to fix. Just don't use it in Round 3 when the Express is used. And make the dollar amounts $5K/$10K/$20K like you suggested. And make it a regular $1,000 space for the rest of that round if it's hit and successfully earned once. 3. This is why they should bring the old W-H-E-E-L envelopes back. 4. Well maybe they should cut down on the number of Jeopardy episodes they make and put that money into Wheel. But knowing Mr. Friedman clearly seems to care much more about Jeopardy than Wheel, I can't see that happening. BTW, I know I'm probably two years late in saying this, but you were AWESOME in your appearance on the show MarioGS. You were one of the 5-10 greatest contestants to ever appear on the show in my opinion. Imagine how much you would have earned if you were a contestant in the returning champions era.
