This Tuesday, 10/23, begins the World Series pre-emptions on most FOX affiliates. In addition, Wheel and Jeopardy! are both being pre-empted in Buffalo that day due to the New York State 27th Congressional District Debate airing on CBS affiliate WIVB. They will be moved to sister station CW affiliate WNLO at their regular times, replacing Inside Edition and TMZ. Lexington was supposed to pre-empt the game shows tonight with its own congressional debate on CBS affiliate WKYT, in which case Wheel was scheduled to be moved to its CW affiliate subchannel. However, the debate was cancelled, so Wheel and Jeopardy! will be seen at their regular times on their regular Lexington station. |

A couple of updates regarding FOX markets this week... WBFF Baltimore is not showing Wheel at all on World Series days (apparently, Seinfeld reruns are much more important at midnight). However, Wheel is once again listed on the Thursday night schedule on or around 12:05AM ET. Two out of five is... not the worst, I guess. WALA Mobile initially did not list Wheel at all on World Series days and also removed it from the schedule on Thursdays. However, it has been airing at 2:30AM CT on all sports days and its schedule has been updated to reflect this. And Cincinatti, we need to have a little talk...  |

Congrats, Red Sox. The World Series ended with Sunday's Game 5, which means Wheel is back on FOX all this week minus Thursday.

Anyone know whether Wheel will air its episodes from November 6-9 on November 7-10, respectively? I checked my local listings and it doesn’t appear as if it will, at least in my area.

KABC Los Angeles is not airing Wheel on Tuesday 11/6. They will be airing next week's Tue-Fri episodes on a one-day delay, with Friday's episodes airing on Saturday at 9:30PM PT since ABC is still airing College Football.
KGO San Francisco is also not airing Wheel on 11/6, but they will not be delaying the rest of the week because they do not air Wheel on Saturdays until after College Football season is over. They will also be pre-empting Wheel on Monday 11/12, moving it to 3:02 AM.
EDIT: Disregard these two stations, as they have both changed their stances on airing Wheel. To be detailed in future post.
WABC New York is not pre-empting any episodes next week.

Jeopardy! and Wheel are being pre-empted tomorrow on NBC affiliate KHQ in the Spokane, Washington market - not by Election Day coverage, but by a College Basketball game. Both shows' Tuesday episodes are being moved to Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 and 2:30PM PT, replacing TMZ and Daytime J!.

Election Day is tomorrow, and Wheel is being pre-empted in several markets, especially in the Mountain and Pacific Time Zones due to ABC and CBS beginning national coverage at 8:00PM ET. However, coverage prior to primetime in these time zones is optional; some stations such as KXTV Sacramento are still opting to air Wheel and other pre-primetime shows at their regular times. Other stations on the East Coast are pre-empting the show with local election coverage. KGO San Francisco will be delaying Wheel and Jeopardy! by one day this week, barring Monday, meaning the Tuesday through Friday episodes will air Wednesday through Saturday. The Saturday airings will be a bit later than usual due to College Football. This station normally does not even air Wheel's weekend run at all at this time of year. Aha. It looks like they changed it at the last minute.  This is their usual Saturday schedule. Earlier this week, J! was listed in the 8:30 slot and Wheel at 9:00, and both were listed as new episodes. I can see them not wanting to air Friday's Wheel because of how it ended, but odd that they apparently didn't air Friday's J!, either.
Speaking of KGO, Jeopardy! and Wheel will be pre-empted on that station tomorrow by the Giants @ 49ers game. They are being moved overnight to 2:32 and 3:02AM PT, respectively. |

Heads up, LA folk.
Jeopardy! and Wheel are being pre-empted next Monday, 11/19 on KABC due to the Chiefs @ Rams NFL game. Both shows will be airing on a one-day delay from Tuesday-Saturday all next week (Wheel's Thanksgiving week). Wheel's Friday episode will air the night of Saturday, 11/24 at 9:30PM PT, instead of the usual Season 35 rerun.

Wheel on WKRN Nashville (ABC) will be pre-empted multiple times in the coming weeks...
Tonight's episode - Wednesday, 11/14 - will be pre-empted by a local special on the CMA Red Carpet arrivals. Wheel will air at 1:32AM CT in place of Right This Minute.
Next Monday, 11/19, is being pre-empted by Monday Night Live with Mike Vrabel, a local sports show. Wheel will air at 12:07AM CT, where it will be paired with a second episode of Right This Minute to replace Dr. Phil.
The Monday after, 11/26, is being pre-empted by the Titans @ Texans NFL game. That day's Wheel (European Vacation, Day 1) is not scheduled to air at all.

NBC affiliate WTOV in Steubenville, Ohio and Wheeling, West Virginia will be airing the Perkins Restaurant and Bakery Fantasy in Lights Parade, a local traditional holiday parade, tonight from 6:30-8:00PM ET. Jeopardy! and Wheel are being moved to 2:07 and 2:37 AM, replacing the overnight rebroadcast of Today With Kathie Lee & Hoda.

Tonight's Wheel was pre-empted on NBC affiliate KBJR in Superior, Wisconsin and Duluth, Minnesota by a local Christmas parade. Although this station usually moves Wheel to its MyTV affiliate subchannel, they did not do so this time. Wheel is not airing at all tonight, unless they choose to air it tomorrow in place of the Season 35 rerun, though the latter is what they have listed.
