Crossing my fingers that the episode I was on gets rerun on a Saturday this year haha. If you happen to see that Island Hopping from 4/30/19 is getting rerun, please tag me Will do! I always tag members if they appear in the "Contestants" column. I also let them know in the WOF Alums Facebook group if they're in there.

My ABC affiliate WOLO on my guide has the 10/5/2018 episode listed at midnight Sunday night heading into Monday morning. It better not be listed incorrectly like it was this past Sunday. We will find out on the 13th

^ Last weekend’s episode wasn’t listed on Zap2It, but it is listed for 10/13 (technically 10/14) at midnight with Elementary at 12:30. Nothing at all for this coming weekend, though. Sad that they can’t give up one of their several Sunday afternoon Paid Programming slots for Wheel during College Football season, and yet they let Jeopardy! be the lead-in for AFV during this time at 6:30 on all Sundays, until both shows can move back to the 7:00 hour on Saturdays.

Some updates from the past couple of weekends... 7:00 PM Eastern airings on CBS affiliates and some 7:30 airings still have not been able to air this season due to the afternoon College Football games always overrunning at least half an hour. Concerning 9/21 (Bed & Breakfast, Day 1), Beverly, the red contestant from the episode, was unable to catch it since she watches on WHIO Dayton (I let her know in WOF Alums and she fully expected it not to air because of football). Aaron would watch on WABC New York and would have had to wake up early Sunday morning to catch it at 5:00 AM Eastern, or DVR it (if the late Colelge Football game runs long, Jeopardy! and Wheel always start on time at 4:30 and 5:00). Sarah would watch on KSBY Santa Barbara, an NBC affiliate out west, not affected by sports that weekend. For 9/28 (Weekend Getaways, Day 1), Julie from Katy, TX should have been able to see her rerun since that's in the Houston market, where Wheel airs on KHOU at 6:30 Central and does not get pre-empted with local news if football runs long. Dan is from the northern part of New Jersey and likely would have been able to catch it early Sunday on WABC (NJ's other affiliate, WPVI Philadelphia, does not carry Weekend Wheel during football season). Sonja from Cleveland lucked out. At first, WOIO scheduled the 7-8 gap as Wheel/Jeopardy!, but likely because of the frequent football overruns, they recently decided to fill that gap with local news instead, and the two game shows now air late Saturday night at 11:35 PM and 12:05 AM Eastern, and there was no nighttime football game on CBS last weekend to push them back further. 9/28 was also the first weekend this season where Weekend Wheel actually got to air on KGO San Francisco since ABC's final football game ended on time, actually so ahead of schedule that they had to do a lot of postgame padding. However, looking at KGO's website, it looks like they are once again opting to not bother with Weekend Wheel during football season, as they have added another local program to their post-game primetime filler lineup (some show about wine called "Sips with Spencer"), and Weekend Jeopardy! slides up to Wheel's post-After the Game "only airs if football ends on time" slot of death. Several other affiliates have changed or added alternate time slots for Weekend Wheel these past few weeks. Those updates will be coming soon. Also, as of last weekend, NBC has now hopped on the College Football train, so Wheel is in danger for NBC folk depending on what times games start or end. They will carry games either from 3:30-7:00 Eastern (putting 7:00 and some 7:30 airings of Wheel at risk), or from 7:30-11:00 Eastern (pre-empting 7:30 airings, and in the case of WTHR Indianapolis, replacing Wheel with Jeopardy!). More info on NBC stations also coming soon. Speaking of Weekend Jeopardy!... Jeopardy!'s weekend rotation is totally out of whack. Not only will it still be on Season 34 two weeks into the new season, but listings show they're repeating an episode that reran just two weeks prior. And we thought Wheel repeating weekend episodes was odd... These are the next four reruns as listed: August 31: 34x099, #7684, 01/25/18, Rachel (Day 5)/Rosie/Jeff September 7: 34x100, #7685, 01/26/18, Rachel (Day 6, defeated)/Jennifer/Melissa September 14: 34x093, #7678, 01/17/18, Gilbert (Day 6, defeated)/Amanda/Lee September 21: 34x100, #7685, 01/26/18, Rachel (Day 6, defeated)/Jennifer/MelissaThat duplicate rerun was indeed a listings error. 9/21's rerun was one episode prior, Rachel's fifth day (vs. Rosie and Jeff). Weird that they reran her final game and then her penultimate game. J!'s weekend rotation finally moves to Season 35 starting 10/19, with the first rerun from that season being the 9/20/18 episode (Kyle [Day 7]/Bucky/Amanda), also the first episode where Alex shaved following his short-lived facial hair phase that season. 10/26's rerun moves up four weeks with 10/18/18 (Alan [Day 5]/Jessica/Mark). Hmm, what is it with airing champ's penultimate games? One of Wheel's more notable contestants of Season 36 shows up again on 10/26.

Although I love football I really want to catch the weekend reruns but I can't. ABC's games are coming on at 7:30 every week. Why can't they start at 8 and let Wheel and Jeopardy air at 7 and 7:30

^ They did last year, but the problem is that ABC also airs games at 3:30 that are scheduled until 7:00, which left a one-hour gap for Wheel/Jeopardy! or other syndicated shows or local news. As I said, if a station schedules Weekend Wheel at 7:00, and in many cases 7:30 after a mandatory local newscast, it can't air if the game doesn't sign off at 7:00, which it often does not. This is exactly what CBS is doing this season, and as I said, Weekend Wheel has not been able to air this season for stations that still choose to slot it at 7:00. WNEM in Flint decided not to even bother with WOF/J! on weekends this season and fills the 7-8 hour with local news and an infomercial instead. My CBS stations (WCBS and WFSB) fill the 7-8 gap with the weekend edition of Entertainment Tonight, which is an hour long, but they keep having to join it in progress halfway through.
ABC probably figured it wasn't worth giving an hour to affiliates between games since it rarely actually is an hour, and because the late games often overrun, too. It's better this way because now several ABC stations schedule Weekend Wheel and/or Jeopardy! on Sunday mornings or afternoons, instead of in a time slot where it may or may not air. Last year, I was sick of every Saturday being a guessing game as to whether football would end in time for Wheel if, say, there were 2 minutes left on the play clock at 6:45. It also ended up causing a lot of unnecessary DVR recordings to pile up because many of my Weekend Wheel recordings were of football or local news. Although my area's time slot for Weekend Wheel isn't ideal for live viewing, it's kind of nice to just pull it up on the DVR when I wake up Sunday morning if it was a good episode (this weekend's definitely isn't).

My ABC affiliate is showing the 10/5/2018 episode right now. I expected the new remixed theme from this season with an electric guitar to get dubbed into it. They left the original theme in. They kinda should replace the original theme with the new one for this season so the reruns are consistent with the weekday shows like when they dubbed the new music into the Season 33 reruns and Season 34 2016 reruns. My guide didn't list it incorrectly like it did 2 weeks ago

Updates!
There have been some scheduling changes over the past month or so. A few affiliates that previously had opted not to carry WWOF at all for College Football season have since added it.
San Francisco viewers, the good news is KGO has re-added WWOF to its Saturday night lineup. "Sips with Spencer" has been dropped. The bad news is that it's back in the 8:30 PM slot where it will only air if ABC's nighttime game signs off at 8:00 PM Pacific time and no later, and this has only been the case once so far this season. The only Saturday rerun of Wheel that KGO has aired so far is the one from 9/28. If ABC's game overruns by even so much as five minutes, KGO's "After the Game" program runs until 9:00 and skips over Wheel. In the brief period Weekend Jeopardy! got moved to the 8:30 slot while Wheel was gone, it never got to air.
While KOMO Seattle does schedule Wheel immediately after mandatory news after the ABC nighttime game, if there is overrun, Wheel still airs in full after the news ends, just delayed by however long the game overran. Last year, KOMO did not carry WWOF at all (but did carry WJ!) until after CF season ended.
CBS is no longer doing nighttime College Football games for now, so West Coast CBS stations have been getting WWOF just fine these past few weeks. However, as of 10/26, the 3:30 PM Eastern games still have failed to end without spilling past 7:00. So far, all but one 3:30 game overran to at least 7:30, with 10/26 running to 7:45, affecting all 7:30/6:30 Central airings of this weekend's Wheel rerun whether the station prioritizes local news or not. The one game that didn't run to 7:30 was back on 10/19, but that one overran to about 7:15. This was the only time so far this season that cities like Boston, Tampa, and Dayton were able to see WWOF at all, and even then, they only got from the $3,000 Toss-Up onwards.
Affiliates that initially did not carry WWOF this season, but now do: - KYUR Anchorage/KATN Fairbanks/KJUD Juneau (8:30 PM) - KDVR Denver (2:30 AM) - WMTW Portland, ME (2:00 AM or 3:00 AM) - KRTV Great Falls/KXLH Helena (6:30 PM; normal time) - WPXI Pittsburgh (4:00 AM Saturday morning, albeit not listed) - WOLO Columbia, SC (12:00 AM Monday, sometimes)
I have updated a couple of posts of mine on page 1 with those additions as well as some new time slots on some affiliates, and others are changing up the time slot every week with no consistency at all, so I have made note of those as well.

Adding to the list of contestants who very likely could not watch their own reruns:
- 10/5 (R&R, Day 1): Michael was said to be from West Point, Virgina, which is closest to Richmond. Local ABC station WRIC does not air Weekend Wheel at all during College Football season, although he's not too far from the Norfolk area, where ABC affiliate WVEC airs it on Sundays, usually at 5:00 PM.
- 10/12 (Shopping Spree, Day 5): All three players may have been affected. Tim is from Englewood, Florida, which is part of the Tampa market but geographically closer to Fort Myers, so his Wheel affiliate would depend on his TV provider. For Tampa, WTSP (CBS) was not able to air the episode because of its 7:00 slot constantly getting pre-empted by College Football overrun. WBBH Fort Myers (NBC) did air the episode, however. NBC did have a College Football game that day, but it began at 7:30 Eastern, so Wheel was not affected on WBBH. D.D. is from Metairie which is just outside New Orleans, served by WVUE (FOX). While WVUE usually airs Weekend Wheel in a random alternate slot if there's a sporting conflict, it did not air at all on 10/12 due to a pre-emption by MLB pregame. Emmalena is from Pine Bluff, Arkansas, just outside Little Rock, meaning she would have had to catch it at 12:30 AM Central on KATV (ABC).
- 10/19 (America's Game from set of GAC: Nashville): Jeanna is from Anaheim which is served by KABC, which is temporarily airing Weekend Wheel at 8:30 PM. That day's College Football did overrun by about 15 minutes, but it wasn't enough to affect Wheel. The other two contestants, William and Ryan, are both from the Nashville area and watch Wheel (when it actually airs) on the notorious WKRN (ABC). Fortunately, they do air Weekend Wheel just about every Sunday in random time slots, sometimes afternoon, other times late night. This episode was aired on 10/20 at 4:30 PM Central, so both guys had no problems catching it. I was able to let them know in advance via the WOF Alums group on Facebook.
- 10/26 (Girlfriend Getaways, Day 2): One of the most interesting episodes of Season 36 despite a Bonus Round loss, this one unfortunately did not air in several areas due to sports on three of the big four networks, most of them running long. Of the red team, Lorraine is from New York (assuming NYC, it aired this morning at 5:00 AM on WABC), and Lori is from Maryland, though the city was not mentioned. For Baltimore, Lori's rerun aired on WNUV (CW) tonight as usual. For the Salisbury area, WRDE (NBC) also aired it just fine since NBC had no sporting conflicts this weekend. However, the DC area does not get Weekend Wheel at this time of year on WJLA (ABC). The yellow team from Arcola, Illinois should have been able to watch on WAND (NBC) just fine. The blue team would have managed to catch it earlier than usual, as Las Cruces, CA is served by KSBY (NBC), which aired Wheel at 5:00 PM Pacific this past Saturday, as 7:30 is sometimes taken by reruns of The Voice prior to SNL at 8:30.
As a bonus, here are the next three Jeopardy! reruns. Looks like come 11/9, they will stop the bizarre "champs' penultimate episodes" pattern and go back to the traditional tactic of airing stretches of episodes in sequential order.
- November 2: #7962, 04/02/19 (Steven [Day 5]/Erich/Anika; two days before James' first game) - November 9: #8010, 06/07/19 (Brendan [Day 2]/Allison/Steven; four days after James' last game; this episode will also rerun on Daytime Jeopardy! on November 1) - November 16: #8011, 06/10/19 (Brendan [Day 3, defeated]/Martin/Mary)

While checking stations for pre-emptions in the coming weeks, I noticed that CBS affiliate WTVY in Dothan, Alabama oddly had Wheel listed twice today, with last weekend's rerun (Rich/Mirella/Niquan) listed at 2:05 AM and the current one (Chris/Nekea/Bex) at the usual 6:30 PM. I figured that had to be a mistake, especially because the station's website had the time slot listed as an infomercial. It wasn't a mistake. I've seen stations re-air Wheel reruns on the fly before, but I've never seen a station delay a rerun to the following weekend. I wouldn't even think that's allowed without permission from CBS TVD. I'm surprised WTVY even went through all that trouble considering this "makeup" is in a late-night slot that's also technically part of the Friday lineup, not Saturday. The only reason I can think of the delay is because last Saturday's broadcast of college football on CBS affiliates overran to 6:45 Central, which would have pre-empted at least part of Wheel on this station (possibly all of it if they aired local news instead).

So this is weird and hopefully false...
The rerun for 12/28 is currently listed as the exact same episode that is rerunning one day prior on Friday 12/27: Day 5 of Season 36 Home for the Holidays week. Remember that December 23-27 are reruns because of the taping cancellations. Surely this is a mistake and we’ll see a different episode rerun that day. They can’t be that dumb to rerun a run-on-the-mill Bonus Round loss episode two days in a row, can they? Then again, they already did this once before, which led to several “wtf this is the same episode as yesterday” comments on social media.

The time they showed the same episodes 2 days in a row was in June 2017 when they showed the 3/2/16 episode twice.

No College Football today on ABC or FOX, so many affiliates that have not been airing Saturday Wheel this season are bringing it back starting this weekend. However, CBS’ game for today is scheduled until 6:30 Eastern, with many stations scheduling local news afterwards, so tonight’s airing might still be affected on CBS.
Then next Saturday, CBS has College Basketball through 8:00 Eastern, and ABC has more College Football for that day only. Then Weekend Wheel should be back to normal on ABC starting 12/28.
I wonder how many people on social media will be like “Yay, welcome back, Pat!” if they watch tonight.

Anybody's listings have info for January 4 yet? Xfinity, Zap2It, and TitanTV only have placeholders for now. This happens every new calendar year for some reason.

^ Actually, plugging in the listings for Kansas City on Zap2It shows 12/28 and 1/4 as the same episodes that reran back on 10/5 and 10/12 (5/20/19 and 10/5/18). It might be an error, so I won't be putting those in the OP just yet.
As for the mystery of 12/28, WPXI Pittsburgh is still airing Saturday Wheel at 4:00 AM for the remainder of football season and I do have access to it, so I will wake up and check to see if they really are airing the same episode twice in a row.

Okay. The listings have updated. This Saturday, December 28 has changed. Now I don't need to get up at 4:00 AM. The episode is now 1/23/19, Bed & Breakfast, Day 3 (Brandie/Daniel/Shirley AKA "Possum"). January 4 is 1/3/19, America's Game II, Day 4 (set of GAC: DC, Andrew/Katie/Eddie). This airing will be pre-empted on East Coast CBS and NBC stations by NFL. January 11 is 4/30/19, Island Hopping, Day 2 (Paul/Joanna/Sylvia). gameshowqueen , there you are!
