Any chance of contestants that were supposed to film Family Week before the pandemic finally getting invited back for Margaritaville Resorts Family Vacation week? Or is it still only local contestants?
^ It's not only local contestants anymore. Most episodes this season have two locals and one non-local, though some have had three locals.
The bigger question is whether it will actually be a family week. Remember that last season had a "Margaritaville Family Vacation" week that was only single players.
"Celebrating the Local Flavor of..." week appears to be just another Great American Cities, apparently featuring tie-ins with the local affiliates. Like with GAC, all contestants are from the city.
New York will be saluted on Monday. A special promo aired on WABC during tonight's episode.

According to the weekly promo, the other cities being saluted this week, in no particular order, are Dallas (KTVT), San Diego (KNSD), and Cincinnati (WXIX).
San Diego should be Tuesday. It better be, anyway. Since KNSD is an NBC affiliate on the West Coast, Wheel will be pre-empted in San Diego on Thursday and Friday by the Winter Olympics. Although those episodes will air on their subchannel, it still wouldn't be a good look for the SD episode or fair to the contestants to air Thursday or Friday. If it does, somebody at Wheel or KNSD needs a talking to.

Google now lists May weeks. May 2-6: Big Money 25th Anniversary Celebration May 9-13: No theme May 16-20: Great Outdoors (originally scheduled for the week of May 9) May 23-27: No theme May 30-June 3: Gone Fishin'
Unfortunately, this very likely means that the tournament was cancelled, unless it is during the week of May 9 and/or 23.
We technically don't know that they're not doing the tournament, but the tournament was probably a Mike Richards thing if Pat was very clearly against returning champions, even on Wheel Around the World Week.

Could be, though they usually go a bit longer into June (like Father's Day timeframe), so there should be a couple more weeks there as well that could host such a tournament if they desire to?

The final week of the season will be an "America's Game" compilation week airing June 6-10. The rest of the season's schedule has been filled in here and it doesn't appear we're getting a tournament.
Monday - Week 33 (taped March 2) Tuesday - Great Outdoors (taped March 16) Wednesday - College Week (taped March 3) Thursday - Gone Fishin' (taped March 17) Friday - Week 35 (taped March 23)
The final tapings, which were for Week 37 (May 23-27), did not have a sixth episode.
