Joel Madden really cleaned up tonight! The Good Charlotte references and Pat bringing up The Anthem brought me back to 8th grade haha. The result of the first bonus round was definitely a shame though, I thought he had a decent chance calling the Y.

At least he did win the second bonus round, and the $100,000 at that. Thank goodness he called the P, it seemed like that wasn't going to be enough but he did figure it out just in time.

My thoughts exactly. It hurt seeing another $1M loss this year, but Joel’s subsequent $100K win is the definition of a rebound. He was a great puzzle solver.

Jenifer was a hoot to watch, and I’m happy she solved the first puzzle of the second game. Francia’s “manifestation” of picking up the $1M wedge had me was hilarious.

Did the first Toss-Up really need three exclamation points? I thought the first word of Round 1 was, out of all things, LAP-DANCING. But I no-lettered the last two Meg(h)an puzzles (and I saw a Triple Toss-Up with that theme coming).

My respective ratings: 4 and 8
