Funny how the celebrity can play, and then the civilian contestant repeats a letter.

Sure, a generic Characters puzzle. Aside from that, an okay main game.

I got the bonus puzzle with RSTLNE, also thinking of HUGE for the first word as a backup. I was hoping BOULEVARD would be a little easier, but not quite.

I also noticed that the 2 words in the mystery round MYTHOLOGICAL HEROES were used back in 2014, where a player loses the round after mispronouncing "Achilles".

Bobbymgsk's mentioned: "There’s 1 thing I would like to mention before I begin this recap- unlike the prev. “Friday Finals” wks they’ve had, only those who win the game are eligible to return. In any event, the mark to beat to return tomorrow is $17,850."

The front game was OK. I kinda wish each team spun some more in their respective rounds, though the Miz and Grant were fun to watch. But I sure thought the Wild Card would help our champs in the Bonus Round…

By the way, what does fabric softener have to do with wrestling? 🤔

This time, it took the additional letters for me to get tonight's Bonus Puzzle.

As for the Miz, I was expecting him to shout, "Really?!" when that Bankrupt was hit, but he got the $5000 he needed to cover that suit (again, WWE Slam City ref from yesterday's recap) plus $50 to help with taxes.

I'm certainly looking forward to how the Finals work out. Hopefully the Bonus Round will be won to end the tournament on a good note.
