Just an average run of the mill show, complete with most of the games being set up to be lost, which felt odd and a bit disappointing on the 2nd day of the season. In particular, Magic # was as forced a loss as I've ever seen in that game. It's tempting to group today's contestant in with our usual not-so-bright contestants who play that game, but in fact, if that were normal luggage, 1064 would be a reasonable answer as to what could be just over its price. Flip Flop and One Wrong Price weren't much easier, although at least both winnable.
The bright moments of today's show were seeing more classic clips (I knew Yolanda would be "coming out" of the vault at some point), and seeing another Rat Race win. The lineup in general was also fairly enjoyable.
I really didn't miss the forced conversations in showcases; can we not do that again, please?

Dice: I was afraid that fourth digit might be a 2.
OWP: Mary was toast the minute she chose that motorcycle.
GG: Very good playing by Brandon on an Italian theme!
SCSD #1: And congratulations to Brandon on spinning the season's first dollar!
M#: Chelyan beat herself at this more than Mike beat her.
RR: That's the second time in a row now that the winning rat's been in the middle lane; Sederia didn't even need another rat!
Flip: I would've won this one, because Hydropools are expensive.
Showcases: Uh, Brandon, that SUV WASN'T that big nor a hybrid.
Overall: Solid show today.

IMHO, I think Sharon's a LFaT!!! If she doesn't sell any of those cars that she won, I'll be very impressed.

I'm surprised that nobody brought up that guy on G-R who posted everything about Race Game for 4 cars and 3 Strikes last to spoil everyone. I'm sure I wasn't the only one who didn't believe him. Who do you think that was, anyway? ...Was that the topic begun by the user named ADAM_S, who some had thought was Sandler? I honestly can't remember... (ISTR a user here, there, or on Invision named Adam Stabelli [sp?]. Again, it's vague.) He thought the DiPirro account was fake for some reason. If it was Sandler who started the above topic, then the accusation was almost certainly because DiPirro had been saying things which contradicted what Richards had been claiming.

It wasn't ADAM_S, it was someone else who thought G-R had betrayed him for some reason

Although today was inappropriately hard for premiere week, the lineup was very nice.
T2 in particular, with -97 and -48, was difficult, although after the first guess it could have been won. Nuts agreeing on the laptop so heavily was stupid...
Enough quickies and TTM being hard, please.
EDIT: Whoah... that home gym was EVIL.

And the $1,000 margin was quickly changed to $500 because of two million dollar winners in so little time (though one was still within $500).

I just wanted to note the clips -- I had secretly hoped before the season started that some true rarities would be pulled out, and they were on this show. The debut of CLIFF HANGERS -- Holy. Crap. I noticed that the mountain has no numbers (only lines and bolder lines), and yes I did see Janice walking behind the game (right when Bob says "Cliff"). Also nice to see Anitra getting a bit of screentime. The debut of THE RAINBOW WHEEL -- I've already seen the full thing from here, but to see a bit of it in near-perfect quality (I saw a bit of glitching after the first spin) is wonderful. Price, keep on pulling out this rare stuff -- the Rainbow Wheel's debut has been circulating for years, but the debut of Cliff Hangers hasn't!

It seems Wayoshi arriving at Studio 33 brought some luck to the place - this was overall a fun one to watch. We've had many "trap" setups this week, but only one particularly forced loss reared its head today, that being Switch? (no way anyone was going to win that with the cheaper-than-usual hot tub in there). And we had lots of great moments - most especially an It's In The Bag win! That game was definitely set up a bit easier for premiere week, but it wasn't all THAT easy. Mike I think wanted the contestant to get 4k for sure and then think yogurt was 3.89 and cleaner 5.99, and she managed to avoid both those traps. Then, Mike tried to set the showcases up to blatantly favor the tripcase, but he made the tripcase look TOO nice so Emily won a Jeep and a trip on top of her other winnings. That was great to see, though I did find it amusing that in her winners' circle video on priceisright.com she made no mention of the $16,000 and said it was "all luck". Well, she lucked her way into a win in one of the most skill-based games on the show - either way, that was cool to see.

The margin has been reduced to $500? I thought it was $1,000 got them both showases, and if it was $500, they will win a million.
