Now that yesterday's final games of the MLB season have been completed (and what a wild one it was yesterday), it's time for the playoffs to begin.
Here are the matchups:
ALDS
#1:New York Yankees vs #3: Detroit Tigers #2: Texas Rangers vs Wild card: Tampa Bay Rays
NLDS
#1: Philadelphia Phillies vs. Wild Card: St. Louis Cardinals #2: Milwaukee Brewers vs. #3: Arizona Diamondbacks
Who do you want to win?
For me, this is a tough one but I feel Philadelphia will win it all. I think they have strong pitching staff and they won the most games in all of baseball this season.

I'm a lifetime Yankees fan, so I hope they win (and I'll be at the Yankee Stadium ALDS games, likely ALCS and WS, if they go that far), and I think they can beat Detroit in 4.
That said, I agree with Andy- based on the Phils' pitching, I see them winning their 3rd WS this year.

I'm pullin' for a Rays/Brewers World Series...with Milwaukee taking all. I'm aware it's a long shot!

I hope the Rangers actually win the whole shebang this time. They were so close last year--winning the first game of the World Series, only to lose the next 4 to the San Francisco Giants.

10/7 Results - Who finally wins the NLDS?
BREWERS defeat the D-Backs in extra innings (10th) w/ a final score of 3-2
Cardinals only score 1 run in the 1st but that was all they needed to beat the PHILLIES.
Now the Division series is over, here are the matchups for the Championship Series (Best of 7)...
ALCS: Tigers vs. Rangers
NLCS: Cardinals vs. Brewers
My bet of the Phillies is gone but if I were to guess who would make it to the World Series, it would be Brewers and Rangers. What about you guys?

Don't count on it. No two expansion teams have ever been to the world series. So expect at least the Tigers or Cardinals to win.
