OK. Just one more suggestion, though. Yellow next to Lose A Turn looks a bit too bright. Maybe switch the $400 and $550. But it's your Wheel. It's still a really cool concept the way it is.

Maybe it's just the lighting because it doesn't look too bad in person. If I did switch them the issue would become having the $500 and $550 sitting almost on top of one another.

I like version 3 best, but I don't like how with all add-ons, there are no visible yellow wedges. I'd switch the $450 and yellow $500.

I can try it but I don't think the yellow is too necessary.

I doodled up these concepts a few days ago and I thought I'd share them. This one is if the values were changed and swapped around in 1986, but the colors were not changed: This one is if the colors were changed, but the layout and values were not: This one is if the values on the daytime wheel ramined the same (minus Buy a Vowel and second Lose a Turn) all the way up until the 1986 color change (the later $1500 TDV wheel is included): (The next few layouts may have been historic at one time or another.)These are what the $500/$750/$1000 wheels would have looked like after Buy a Vowel and second Lose a Turn were gone but $1500 had not been introduced: These show if the round 3 layout changed, but with $1000 still as the TDV: This one is the same as the above but with Buy a Vowel added:

With credit to MarioGS, and SuperkingT for the possibilities, here's my idea for the season 31 layout. Bringing back $750, and an orange $900 in place of $800. What do you think?

Very nice, Wheelgenius.
But if I could change that layout for season 32, I would make only two changes. I would change the red-orange $300 by the Bankrupt to $850, and I would change the pink $900 to finally have $950 as a playable value. These changes are to make all the three-digit multiples of $50 above $300 playable values without affecting the $500 spaces since apparently, most if not all of those spaces will be used for tokens and wedges. Thus, when a player lands on those tokens and wedges, he or she will get $500 for each letter occurrence plus the wedge or token that he or she landed on.

I was actually thinking similarly. Here's another possible future R4 layout: The $1000, $1500, and $2000 are add-ons. They respectively replace $300, $400, and $950. $1000 is added for R3 while the other two are added for R4. All other add-on placements would remain the same.

Wowsers, Mario! Amazing! More old-timers reunite. That got me to ask, what kind of program did you use to make these dollar figures more like realistic? You know, the sparkly outlines, and all.

Very nice, Nick. ;D Where would the add-ons and top dollar wedges go? Wowsers, Mario! Amazing! More old-timers reunite. That got me to ask, what kind of program did you use to make these dollar figures more like realistic? You know, the sparkly outlines, and all. SuperKingT showed me a way to make them dead-on realistic using various effects and tools in Paint.NET, a free Photoshop clone available for Windows only. It's a much longer process than what I used to do, but the result is well worth it.

That was meant to be a VERY basic layout. The purpose of this was to see not only what the wheel would look like if the penalty wedges were opposing each other, but what every X50 increment value from 300-1000 looked like. Here is what my wheel would look like in round 1. No prizes, just cash: woffan08.deviantart.com/art/Custom-Wheel-1-322708899Please don't use a link shortener. There's no reason to use them in a forum setting, and they just hide the destination. I hate not knowing exactly where I'm going...for all I know, you've linked to a trojan or something. That link shortener actually came straight from DeviantArt. I didn't come up with one on my own.

I fixed them. A tip for anybody who posts postimage links, make sure they're the links for the images themselves (you can get them by right-clicking the image, clicking Properites, then copying the URL of the image), not the image page.

Question for whoever may know, when you are deciding on a fantasy layout, are there any typical "Do's and don'ts" when it comes to deciding what wedge goes where? (I know, from looking at the show, use only one of the top dollar amount in any given round, no more than 2 full-size Bankrupts and 1 Lose a Turn on any given layout, not sure what else...)
