Hello there fellow Wheel watchers. Here's another link to my live Wheel cash event at my college. Well that time is almost here again. I'm hosting another live Wheel of Fortune event on campus on Friday and I'm pretty sure it's going to be recorded again! I would say look out for new videos throughout the weekend and the following weekend! |

I'm just getting back from my Wheel of Fortune - Family Edition event and here are a few stats...

More Bankrupts that I can remember
... and to top it off, a $100K loss.
It's strange because in the 9 games I've hosted on campus so far this year, there have been 2, $100K losses. It's kinda like the reverse of what happend late last season.

Aww.  Can't wait for the videos, George. I'm really eager to see your updated Powerpoint. Oh, and don't forget to edit out three lost turns and add jump cuts to yourself in Speed-Up rounds if necessary. |

I don't know how good the video will be... I know there's only be one game with the wheel getting shot because it wasn't steadily recording. The other shot will be mostly of the contestants, me, and the puzzleboard. I know I have a lot of editing to do with the puzzleboard and such though because our PB operator made a lot of errors. It was slightly frustrating.

Already watched it.  Great job, George. Love the new Powerpoint, but I would suggest tinting the WOF logos green. And where did you get the prize cue during the totals slide? Also, that spin at 9:05 was $3500, but you counted it as $500. Oops! |

I'm not sure how to tint the logos green but I don't think they're too distracting.
The music for the score slide was cut from the Wii game thanks to woffan2008.
I realized that as I was editing the video. I was like wow... FACE... PALM. It was weird because none of them corrected me on it. Not only that but I was in an awkward position to begin with.
You can't see it on the video but the mic cord was too short so I was standing a couple feet away from the wheel in an awkward position. It wasn't until R4 that I was given an extension and you'll see that when I give the final spin (I still have to edit that portion yet).
Thoughts about the puzzles so far?

Oh I know it, if only you could see unedited version. I programmed a fail-safe OOPS slide into my PPTs on the red letter puzzles and it definitely came in handy on several occasions. I was really pissed off with the guy who was running it. He kept talking to people and wasn't paying attention so it was frustrating. So many things just fell out of place that night. Especially with the camera which is why there is only going to be one game posted. I have the second game filmed but it's just the puzzleboard so no wheel spinning action.

George, have you ever considered hosting and running the PPT at the same time? Or teach someone else how to host while you do the presentation? The guy running it was really off a lot of the time. I'd suggest putting a used letter board in the presentation. Also, I could see a white outline of a W overlapping the black lines whereever there was a W. How exactly do you keep track of which bonus envelope goes where if you don't put them in the Wheel? Great game, overall. They seemed to be having fun. Oh, and you forgot to do some editing in the Speed-Up. |

I host and do the PPT when I do game nights in a smaller setting. I would let someone else host but if I can't generate any interest in the club I'm pretty much stuck with hosting duties, not that I mind of course.
I usually have a used letter board off to the side but not that time because again, a lack of help. When I say things were a mess, things were a mess. The person I thought was going to run it bailed out on me the night before and the guy running the PPT was supposed to work the cameras.
I have 24 separate envelopes that are labeled with the wedges of the bonus wheel so that was never an issue.
Forgot to do some editing how?

Yeah, those 5 misses in a row. I realized what he meant once I watched it again. The DP was hit twice. I think they were both lost to a bankrupt if I am remembering correctly.
Thoughts about the puzzleboard and Amal (Vanna).
