I have confirmed through a very reliable source (and cleared through Prizes) that Wheel will be taping Spa Fantasy Week on July 12, along with one episode of America's Game. I'm unsure of the air date but will have an update. Very exciting stuff!
Looks like this will air the week of Sept 17th.
Moving the stuff down from the first post so Mario can post information and such. Post has otherwise not been affected.

The syndicated series debuted on September 19, 1983, so the techincal 30th anniversary will probably be during early Season 31...

It really doesn't matter to me how they kick off the 30th anniversary season. All I know is that my bags are packed and I'm ready to fly out to Los Angeles or whatever city they choose to do the tapings for the show. I have been selected to be a contestant on the show. The waiting is killing me. I think God is testing my patience. I am hoping they will call me to come out for a taping on July 26th or 27th. I would love to be on the spa fantasy show. But like I said, it doesn't matter to me. I'm just READY TO GO SPIN THE BIG WHEEL!!  Does anyone know if they have called contestants for July 12th and July 13th tapings? |

First of all, congrats.  Second, the show's "home base" is Culver City, in western Los Angeles (so LAX will most likely be the airport). The only "road show" announced for Season 30 is New York, but those tapings are scheduled for March or April. |

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only lady in waiting. I have been waiting on the call since December. Actually, they wanted to fly out for a taping in December but I was unable to get off from my job. They told me that they would reschedule me for a later time. Anyway, I know that God's timing is perfect. I guess I will just hold my breath and hope they will call me for the 7/26-7/27 tapings. |

It doesn't appear that anybody here is going to the first tapings.
On another note, there are no shows currently available on the ticket request page's drop-down menu. Looks like all sessions from 7/12-7/27 will be full houses. ;D
