Gift tag wouldn't be next to LAT, I was just specifying which BANKRUPT. But WC is not next to BANKRUPT? Is there any way you can pin down roughly where it was?

I'm starting to think $65,000, $75,000, and $85,000 never actually existed, and were just mentioned to get a response. And no new categories at all? This is sounding like even less :effort: at tweaking than usual. Since when has the show put forth effort in something that wasn't unnecessary? |

Well hello... the podiums are WAY wider. And there's a 4th in front of Pat!
I think I can make out gift tag where it's supposed to be, so alright to that. Interesting stuff tonight, thank you!

Wow! The podiums actually look cool! I wonder what the purpose of the monitor infront of Pat is for? I don't think it's another podium, mainly because I can't see another flipper.

I'm well aware of that, but you'd think they'd at least take pictures of those envelopes and post them online so people wouldn't think those kinds of things. Those are easily the worst podiums I've ever seen. How so? At the very least, the displays resemble their 1990-2007 counterparts (in that they're touching). |

Now that things have calmed down for the night, my opinions on what we know so far: $500 per letter with gift tag/Wild Card: Finally.  Now the gift tag isn't completely useless, seeing so many people lose the WC to Bankrupt won't be as frustrating, and now we don't have to vent when people call a frequent consonant or a Same Letter after landing on them. I just hope the layout is more balanced and not so much $500...and the pink wedge next to Bankrupt better still be $900... Varying 1/2 Car: I wholeheartedly approve of this.  They should have done this last season. Hooray, generic tags! New podiums: I was hoping for the scoreboards to be smaller...  If they want to increase the size that much, at least make the font bigger and/or wider. Look at all that space. Hopefully they'll make good use out of it besides the 1/2 Car tag graphics. The "BANKRUPT"/"LOSE A TURN" graphics are going to look just plain obnoxious on those things though unless they come up with a better execution for them. It appears they changed the font for the dollar sign, too. I kind of hope they changed the "swivel" animation for the scores, but probably not...I like the screen on Pat's podium, at least as the way it's shown there. They better not ruin it by displaying something other than the logo during the game... As for the new categories, let's not jump to conclusions just yet. Remember that not all new categories debut early in the season. We'll find out of any new ones officially in the annual press release. |

I like the set changes. I just hope that where Pat has a monitor, they don't put on there funny messages. I guess Jeopardy will not have any set changes.
