Sheesh, you guys are a tough crowd. Some people here are just interested in seeing what's changed; they did this kind of thing last season, too. Now that it's late in the night, I have a question. Don't throw tomatoes at my head... Aww. (puts down tomato) but what's with the special interest in the exact wedge configurations? Just curious... I guess it's like Mario said, in that offering $500 per letter for the Gift Tag and Wild Card would mean that 1) they were moved to $500 spaces or 2) their former spots were reduced (the Wild Card covered $900 last season). Honestly, I'm not a huge freaking fan (I hope). If I see a minor layout change, it's almost always because someone else already did. |

How so? At the very least, the displays resemble their 1990-2007 counterparts (in that they're touching). They're just ONE. BIG. SCREEN. I would prefer some bordering (honestly, I think it's the same screen with the plexiglass borders around it ripped out). I suppose we're not ever going to get eggcrates back, but the very least they could've done is the Season 23 style (with smaller screens/light-up bordering. Sheesh, you guys are a tough crowd. That's TOO MUCH $500. Plus, the Wheel would overall lose $200 off of it. |

I've probably thrown a farm's worth of tomatoes in the past two seasons, and I'd love to stop if Friedman would quit giving me ammunition...except for the Season 28 debacle (quite frankly, that caliber of disrespect should've been rejected out of hand at the initial suggestion). Wheel, if you're going to change something then at least do it in a way that makes the game better. For example, fix the Trip Puzzles to actually be "Prize" Puzzles, or replace your crap writers with ones who don't have to rely on corporate phraseology and unused Slang puzzles. Mind you, if you've already done those, I'll happily eat crow.  |

Today's tapings are for "Fun & Fit" week, scheduled for October 1-5.Here's a zoom-in of the monitor in the corner...  There's definitely something covering what was the green $300 (Free Spin's former spot). Too bad this is still too small to make out any numbers for sure... Also, the new scoreboards look pretty nice by themselves. It's just the super-small score font that makes them look bad during gameplay, IMO.

Well damn... that wide and square on green 300, is definitely 1/2 Car (WHY MOVE IT JUST ONE WEDGE IF IT'S GOING TO BE MOVED?). So where the hell is WC??

It looks like the other 1/2 Car...and the blue wedge next to it definitely looks like $500.
Also, why does the pink $900 look like a 7?
Hmm...
EDIT: Judging from this picture and the last one, I actually think the pink $900 is now a $700.

Is it just me or does the blue $500 next to the other 1/2 Car look like $300? To me, it looks like the WC's still on $900...
Though I thought it was on the orange $300 on that other picture...

Actually, it does seem like $700 when I look at it... but the top makes me think it's a Wild Card. Now the orange $300 seems more likely to hold the WC...

The green $500 where $700 once was definitely still looks like it's a 1/2 Car...I think, though, that the green 300 is now a $500 and ALSO has a 1/2 car on it.

I'm looking at the pictures that have been posted; unfortunately, even with the bigger photo, there's no clear shot of what the Wheel looks like.
As for the $65K-$85K, if they made that permanent, would that even break the budget?

I don't know about a new scoreboards. There very wide but the font numbers size same a same. I wonder what a Bankrupt/Lose a Turn/Half Kia grapics would look like for this new one.
