I was trying really hard to pay attention during the practice but it's so hard when you have 3-4 coordinators in your face telling you to tell louder, spin harder, pay attention to the puzzle and not the wheel, look at the used letter board, etc. Esp since I wasn't already a wheel guru.
Those layouts look pretty accurate, Mario. I just can't tell you with 100% accuracy if they are perfect. They did not increase dollar amounts in between rounds. All they did was add/remove the specific wedges.

A few other tidbits regarding the new season- -Going into select commercial breaks, a clip of a previously-aired Bonus Round puzzle will be shown on the screen, with a voiceover by Vanna asking the viewer if they can solve it. -The intro music may have been remixed. I was told that it was definitely the same tune, but the orchestration sounded different in-studio. Best to wait until air to determine for sure. -There are new animated graphics on the new scoreboards. -Finally, a category that has been extremely rare in recent years will be seeing an uptick in play. As for which one...I'll leave it to you to guess.  |

Been busy past couple of months so I have not been able to see the show regularly. Clue? I have a gut feeling it's got something to do with $3,000 bonus, since the first 2 digits of 3000 are 30.

Not necessarily spin harder, but remember my left handed deal? I actually tried spinning right handed as well. You'll see what I ended up choosing.

Given that it's Season 30, the only category that offers a $3,000 bonus now is What's This Song? They brought back the frickin' Preview Puzzle.  Also, $650?!  Turns out that pic was taken back on 7/13. I'm mad at myself for not finding it then.  Here's a larger version of the pic. The blue wedge is definitely $700:  Not only are we getting a lot of classic color/value combinations, but a value not seen since the Woolery era! 650 was used on Wheel 2000, so 14½ years of absence isn't too long. As a cash wedge, though, it hasn't been seen in 33 years. Dafuq, Wheel? I think it's funny that the scoreboards show the $600-$400-$300 area still, when all three of those are now something else.

Not only that, but they STILL use the old number font that was retired in 2003. Also the sky background on Pat's screen looks pretty cool. Pretty sure that's just for that week. I like it too, though. Reminds me of the sky Jeopardy! logo used circa 1995. |

Sanam, I don't know if it was addressed or not, but does the wheel prize also offer $500 per letter? I ask this because the $350 is now $500 too and it wouldn't surprise me if it applied for the prize now.
