Our fave show is finally hitting the XBox system this fall, and apparently THQ still has the rights to the game. Here is the URL: www.xbox360achievements.org/game/wheel-of-fortune/overview/Also, it looks like the 1/2 Car tokens are there and they're following the S29 rules. Looks quite fun. Eh, I think the Wii graphics were actually better-looking. (Surprise!) Also, did they really keep $700 and the Wild Card in place and added the 1/2 Car at $450? LOL. Fail.

The graphics may be better on Wii but this is kinda how it should have been released the first time with full sized characters. When the Wii Vanna gestures to the top row of letters it frustrates the hell out of me.

Well, it's good to know that THQ likely still has the rights. I agree that the Wii version actually looks better. This sort of looks like a mix of the Wii and PSN versions. Less cartoonish, but it actually has Pat & Vanna. Too bad this will be somewhat outdated since it will release after S30 starts. And 1/2 Car on 450/WC still on 700 better be changed for the final version.... The updated set looks nice on here, and they have the "America's Game" logo on the classic set, yet they forgot to change the other video wall to have Harry Friedman's vacation photos. It'll probably have online, too. Yay, yet another franchise on Wii/PS3/360 that has online for only the latter two making Wii players feel left out. Jeopardy! is coming as well. Same story, really. New contestant/host models, updated set, but still red/yellow/blue podiums. And I see they still couldn't get the rights to use the Korianna font.

The logical thing to do would be re-release these during the regular season and include online play on whatever console. Wii could take advantage of the Wii MotionPlus instead of having that damn power bar. Whatever though, I'm preaching to the choir.

Except Pipeworks has never programmed any online features into their Wii games. Hope they have a Wii U devkit. I've been thinking of some cool ideas for that platform's Wheel game.

There is a PS3 version coming at the same time as well. No, it's not the downloadable version modeled after S26. Why did they wait 2 years to make these versions? And now even more pain that the Nintendo versions will be the only ones this generation to not have online. Online is practically mandatory for PS3/360 games...No, there is no Wii re-release planned from what I can tell, but it would still be without online.

Hahahahaha, Pat looks like he's 25, so does Vanna! I'm glad I decided NOT to get rid of my PS3, I'm definitely getting this game! Is J! coming out for PS3, too? EDIT: Oh, and Mario, where did you find the info out about the PS3 version? I searched and couldn't find anything.Never mind. I found it on GameFly.

Is it just me or does Alex Trebek look a bit like Jon Stewart of The Daily Show?

Is the Xbox version of Wheel going to have a speed up round in it? If so, will it be three turns before speed up like on the Wii, or will it be a full speed up like on the ds?

I don't think we know that much info yet. I'm sure as time draws closer, they will have (I hope) a trailer with more info.

I imagine it'll be sort of like the same situation as the PSN version of Press Your Luck compared to Wii. It'll fix the glitches but probably end up being pretty much the same game as on Wii but with better graphics and online play (and in this case, S29 rules instead of S27). I was fortunate enough to get in touch with one of the producers of both games and gave him some suggestions for a future Wii release, but that was way back. Now I'll have to pitch some Wii U ideas to Pipeworks.

Wheel finally making an Xbox debut? About time, although I've neither the 360 or the original. Thankfully, I have a PS3 along with the downloadable 2009 version for it. I was worried that this would be just a 360 title at first. Thank goodness it's also for the PS3 - just another reason why I prefer the PS3 over 360.

I'm assuming that Jim will be doing the announcing for the first time.

I was wondering about that. At first I figured all the VA would be recycled from the Wii games, but then wondered if they got Jim to record stuff or if they'll recycle Charlie's voice. I imagine it will be the former.
(I'm just going to say this right now, no venting on the dubbing situation, please)

Well, I was in an "argument" of sorts with someone on Facebook who says that these versions of J! and WoF are simply direct ports of the Wii versions and will have the same puzzles, prizes, and Charlie's announcing on Wheel/same clues and whatnot on J! since THQ wouldn't want to waste more money to release something they've already made anyway. I disagree. There are several changes being made, albeit there are some things that look just like the Wii version. Thoughts, anyone?

We'll just have to wait and see, but I think it's just going to be mostly recycled from Wii. If it were an entirely new edition, they probably would have released this on Wii as well, but they're not.

Just saw the games listed on the official Xbox website. Both games, at least on 360, will have online play, downloadable content, online leaderboards, and voice chat. Everything the Wii versions should have had... Thanks, Pipeworks for making us Wii players feel like we're stuck playing N64...
