Not bad, but the board could use a lot more work. I still want to play on this, but Nintendo always gets the shaft. ALWAYS.

I found that playthrough last night and updated the History Wiki with info on that set...which, unfortunately, looks hideous and poorly made - the turntable is almost entirely misshapen (sharp corners, for one) with mostly-black walls and rotates constantly in the wrong direction, the spiral pillars look like somebody wound them too tight, the sunburst backdrops look like a cross between their second and third designs (the "spikes" of the former in the uniform style of the latter) and their rings are ribbed, the walls are solid with the occasional...what is that supposed to be, a snowflake?...and dafuq is with the "projected Wheel O's" backdrop behind everything?
The set looks like Pipeworks glanced at some low-quality footage and/or was on a deadline of some sort (was this set theme DownLoadable Content or Disc-Locked Content?). It's not like there was any shortage of source material, either - about half a dozen 1985 episodes for the general atmosphere, and the opening to Chuck's last show, Pat's first, or a late-'89/early-'90 Goen episode for the Wheel base's different sizes and light patterns.
The main problem, which isn't Pipeworks' fault, is that they put objects that were originally designed for Studio 4 at NBC in Burbank (i.e., 70 feet between the puzzle board and Wheel) onto the current stage, and everything looks very small as a result. If you want the "living room" feeling of the Burbank era with set pieces that actually resemble and act like how they're supposed to (plus Eggcrate displays, the curtain, and a trilon-based puzzle board that's also motorized), play the "Premiere" set in the iOS game.

^Dan, the theme is downloadable content. So, Sony is releasing the PlayStation 4 later this year. Could we hope to see another Wheel release that might be even better than this one?

No problem at all, George. If anything, a thread where people can share their PSN/XBLive account usernames for online WOF play with fellow site members may not be a terrible idea for this section...

Sounds like a good idea to me, I get tired of the other people I play on here that just leave if they start getting beat.

Wii U version has a really annoying glitch... R1 puzzles are always Title while R2 is always Living Thing, plus the puzzles in the database are presented in an order, not randomized. Any first-time players will always have PHONE BOOK as their first Toss-Up.

In other news. I just one the million for the second or third time. This one is probably the coolest because it's about as close as you can get to Michelle Lowenstein's score as possible in the game... $1,026,100

You beat her score by $20... her score was $1,026,080. Nice job.

Yeah I know, that's why I said it was as close as you could possibly get

Believe it or not, I just got $95,500 as a main game score. Breakdown All 3 Toss-ups ($6,000) $20,800 R1 (Jackpot win) $13,400 R2 (Car win) $36,800 R3 ($3,500 for 5 T's and 2 N's on a WC, Prize Puzzle) $18,500 R4 ($6,000 Speed-up) ------- $95,500 $45,000 BR ------- $140,500 Total AND to top it all off I carried the MDW all the way through. I'm not usually one to toot my own horn but I thought this was pretty freaking awesome

Yeah, I agree. I wonder how close you were to beating my own personal record of $1,085,600. That was set on November 5, 2009 on the first PS3 version. Let's see who can get $1.1 million!

I could've easily broken 6 figures in the main game but didn't want to risk it. I've come close to cracking $60K a few times but I never expected anything like I did earlier today. I certainly don't expect it to happen again any time soon... if ever.

Once you can master the strength like I did on the 2009 PS3 version, you'll have a chance. Besides that game, [chuckles], I've also mastered the strength on the Genesis version, at times getting at $100,000 in only three rounds, but so far I've done it playing with no opponents.

Well I feel like that's a little easier to do if you're not playing against anybody. I had a Live player and then a CPU. The live player dropped after I won the jackpot and the computers were on hard.
That being said I notice a lot of people tend to drop if I get a big lead pretty early. It's slightly frustrating.

I finally bought a Wii U system! The first game I bought (with the exception of Mario Kart 8 which came pre-installed), was of course, Wheel!
I'm having fun playing it but I don't want to play too often...I'm afraid the puzzles will start repeating too quick.
It's so odd seeing the 1/2 CARS placed where they are and the Wild card also looks off.
I'm hoping they come out with a new version soon with the express wedge in R3 and season 33/34 rules and wheel template.

Question...
I can change my appearance and clothing (as player 1), how do you do this for players 2 & 3? I can't figure out how to change their clothes, hair, etc.

You'll have to play those characters too. I've done that many times.
