Well, THQ didn't develop them, just published them. Hopefully someone will re-acquire video game rights and actually do them right on Wii U complete with proper online functionalities.

No. Pipeworks Software. They also developed the Wii versions. Griptonite Games developed the DS versions.

Well I am in the middle of purchasing an Xbox 360 (upgrading from the Wii). I will probably buy Wheel for it just for the online play if anything. For future reference, my SN is CeruleanAcer89

Don't forget to pay for Xbox Live if you plan on playing online.

Both Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! are available for digital download on the Wii U eShop. "Online Multiplayer" was removed from the features, but the "Online Interactions Not Rated By The ESRB" warning is still there, and their trailers still mention it (WOF's still mentions Xbox Live/PSN)...

Best Buy has the 360 and PS3 versions of Wheel and Jeopardy! on sale (both in-store and online) for $19.99 and the Wii U versions for $29.99, but only until December 27. Anybody who has the Wii U and was waiting for a price drop on the games, now's the time.

I've played about 10 games so far, and I got the Million wedge in 9 of the games. Made it to the Bonus Round in all of them but couldn't gt the big prize. I'll keep trying.

How have you hit it that much in a short amount of time. I've gotten like 8 hits on it.

My discounted copy of the Wii U version arrived today...I've only played one actual game so far, and started a multiplayer game just to test things... Unlike the Wii version, there are no player profiles. The other versions use your online username for your player name, and since they removed the online, you can only be listed as "Player 1". Apparently, this is the same for Jeopardy!, which means you can't even sign your podium name on the GamePad! What a completely wasted opportunity! The default avatar system isn't very good, despite being Wii U gamers' only option. You have to scroll through the default avatars and you can only change their hair color, skin color, and outfit. The only thing my avatar and Mii have in common is hair and skin color. It really looks nothing like me...And for multiplayer games, Players 2 and 3 have to stick with only the default avatars. They can't customize them at all. Despite not being mentioned on the back of the box like it should be, Wii Remotes are required for multiplayer. A single player can play with only a Wii Remote as well. Wii Remote controls are similar to the 2010 game, except you can just press A to spin. If you do choose to spin using motion controls, you don't have to hold down B, but of course, the spin strength just goes by the power meter, not the motion itself. Also, in the old game, you would press 1 to lock in a solve. Now, it's 2, though it is still displayed as "X", which is what the GamePad uses. In multiplayer games, only one player can use the GamePad. I don't mean one at a time, I mean only one. There's no passing it to other players to make controls easier for them. Whatever controller you choose, you're stuck with. Oh, and I tried to see if the "round is thrown out if everyone missolves with only vowels left" rule took effect, and it did. The round was skipped over. The most aggravating thing, being a Wii U game, is that the GamePad plays almost no role. The only benefit from it is that you can select letters and options by tapping them on the screen, making guesses and solves much faster. The image on the GamePad is always the same as the TV's, so naturally, this should mean it's possible to play the game only the GamePad. It technically is, but there's a major problem. All the audio comes only from the TV's speakers, so off-TV play can only be played in silence. I know THQ was on the verge of bankruptcy, but they and Pipeworks were outright disrespecting Nintendo by not putting any effort into this and removing the best selling point (online), yet suckering people out of $50 for it. Everyone E-mail Pipeworks at pr@f9e.com and tell them that Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! need online for Wii U! If they get enough demand, they have to add it and make things fair for everyone.

How have you hit it that much in a short amount of time. I've gotten like 8 hits on it. After having lots of practice with the power meter, I know how to aim the wheel. Most of it, actually, is all luck. I try to aim for the big money spot, but I will sometimes go short on the power and hit the million. Something I've noticed with the power is that if the game realizes you are aiming, it will sometimes either slow down the spin or boost it. I always hit the same spot, and the power is never usually consistent.

Yeah I noticed that inconsistency to on slower powered spins but with online play it's a little bit harder to determine since there's a slight delay in you pressing A and when the action takes affect.

The Wii U version has a new minigame called "Toss Up Flash". Do the other versions have this, too? (you can check by going to the Rules section)

^PS3 version does not have that mini-game, just the same ones as the Wii version.

There was a lot of potential for the use of the Gamepad, but they didn't take the time to explore it. For example, you could have the TV display the puzzleboard at all times while everything else would be on the Gamepad: And as a secondary display, the Gamepad would display all the important information that real contestants get to see at all times: Just thought I'd share these concepts. Maybe somebody will see them.

I see them, and I like them too, but I doubt they get acted upon. Why not? Because it would require effort and also make sense.
