I finally got my letter on day #19!!! I can't believe I'm actually going to be on Wheel of Fortune!!!!!! Congratulations! i am waiting patiently for my letter...day 12 and counting. Had my final audition in Washington, DC on August 16th. i think i did well? on first puzzle i called out a consonant and a vowel but got buzzed after calling a letter that was not on board. then the second time i was called i called out consonants and vowels and solved the puzzle! i probably got half right on test so that was the only downer. also, i was upbeat and clapped so long and hard my hands were red and tingling the rest of the day. i was not called back for third round. About 10 ppl stayed for third round. there had to of been a total of 60/80 ppl in my final audition. this wait is killing me and annoying everyone in my family! lol i hope i get something in the mail soon!!! I was there in DC too! This is it! Day 14! Were you at the 3PM audition? I was... I did well in first round but didn’t solve a puzzle, think I got over half correct on test, was asked to stay for callbacks(didn’t solve puzzle during game but did really well on “Pat Chat”) AND was 1 of 3 that was asked to play another final game to end the audition. Guess they really couldn’t decide on me lol Anyway most places I’m reading on here have majority of folks saying they got the letter between day 15 and 3 weeks so I guess will hold out hope even if no letter today... good luck!

Glad to hear some DC audition responses on here! My audition was on Wednesday, August 15th (3pm), so today is day 15 for me. Haven't received a letter yet, but I remain hopeful. I was only called on once during the mock game portion of the audition, but guessed a couple of letters and solved the puzzle. I also believe I got 14+ out of the 16 puzzles on the written tests. I hope I didn't make a weird face or something, and was loud enough to not get myself disqualified (I don't remember that being an issue, but it's funny how one super analyzes these things!). It felt like such a blur, so I'm not sure. Anyway, it would be great to know if anyone from the DC auditions has heard anything yet. Good luck everyone!

Was your name called for the 3rd phase? And do we know how many auditions were held in DC total? No letter for me on Day 14 here, holding out hope for the common Day 15/16 I see from a lot of folks on here 🤞

Also, has anybody gotten a letter that did NOT solve a single puzzle(gameplay, not written) during the final audition? I got the “good voice” and “good choice” from CCs on letter calls, but didn’t solve any puzzles Was there til the very end too. Just curious...

By my estimate there were about 15-20 people called to stay after the CCs returned from grading the written tests. Based on the names of the people they called, I could not get a read on whether this was a good or bad thing. Based on what I've read on here, if you are asked to remain it may mean that they are not sure about you, but if you are told you can depart after the written test, they have made up their mind about you already (one way or the other). One of the CCs mentioned before she let anyone go is that some of us leaving right after the test may get a letter and others would not. From the performances of those who were asked to remain from my audition, it seems like they didn't make any major blunders during the first part of the audition, so maybe it was for a better look if there was a question. I was at the 3pm audition on the 15th and several individuals were saying that there was an audition earlier that day at 10am or so. So it sounds like there were at least 3 audition sessions. It seems like you did very well in the Pat Chat and had a lot of exposure playing the game, which sounds like a good thing!

I’d really like to know if anybody from the DC auditions got THE LETTER yet... I believe there were 4 DC auditions total, as mine was 3PM Thurs 8/16 and people mentioned there was one at 10AM that morning too. I think I had a great showing other than not getting to solve a single puzzle the whole time, so unless that is a huge detraction(I didn’t ask to solve and get it wrong either though, just was never “my turn” when the puzzle was solved), I have pretty high hopes. Keep us posted on your letter too!!!

My husband was at Washington,DC, audition on the morning of 8/15. Unfortunately, no letter as of yet. Had great wheel mobile audition but not much of a chance to show anything at the hotel. He was dismissed after the written test.

Makes me a bit nervous haha. Likewise. I’ve heard a lot about Day 16 & the 3 week mark too though. Don’t think we should give up hope just yet.

I was at the Washington DC audition on the morning of the 16th. I was shocked to get my letter! I was out of town this weekend and so I think I received it on 9/1.
At the audition, I had one turn to stand up and called a few letters, then guessed incorrectly and my turn was over. I wasn’t asked to stay and was dismissed after the test. I estimate I got at least 8 answers correct on the test and got partial on a few more.
Fingers crossed those who are waiting get letters!

HI, everyone. This is acwof. A few months ago, I auditioned for the Wheelmobile event in Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina, and was luckily selected to go up on stage in Durham. I was told at the audition that those who were worthy of a final audition would receive a final audition letter/email in late summer. Well, wouldn't you know it? (I apologize for the following being in all caps.) I GOT AN EMAIL FOR THE FINAL AUDITION LATER THIS MONTH! I am so excited! This will be my first final audition for Wheel of Fortune. I will be sure to keep you all updated about this, and my experience at the final audition! For those of you who auditioned for the Raleigh/Durham Wheelmobile, I would check your emails when you can! - acwof

Congrats acwof! I got the email yesterday that I made the final audition for Raleigh!!! I was called up on stage at the Durham Wheelmobile event on April 15. I went 2-for-2 on calling letters but didn't solve. At the end of my interview portion, Marty said, "Very well prepared," so I figured I had at least a reasonable chance. Also, props to the local TV reporter hostess who had the crowd chant my name as I was making my way up :-)

I started things off with a T and got another letter but I didn't solve. Just got the call yesterday from the Wheel folks that the audition is being postponed by Hurricane Florence. It's a bummer, but safety first. They verified my email and said they'd let me know of the new date. What are you doing to prepare? Congrats again! I was on stage at the start of the second show. - acwof
