That video was up with Pat's old Twitter account. It's possible that someone downloaded it when it was up and re-uploaded it. The YouTube account has a display name of "Pat Sajak", but the actual username is "cosgal9696".
While there's definitely a decent chance the Twitter account is legit (most notably, the reappearance of the video and that it follows the Balitmore Orioles and Dan LeBatard), it needs more proof, and why would he have hubcaps as his background? He needs to tweet a picture of himself holding up a note saying "I'm back, Twitter!" or something. And I would think that Pat would follow his son and especially his daughter, too.
Pat's website (which is linked on the Twitter) has also received a minor update. While it's still a blank teal background with a "PAT SAJAK.com" graphic, this was added:

Yes, there was. In that one, Pat was on the phone with "Jerry" (believed to be Jerry Seinfeld) trying to come up with jokes to tweet. Who do you think really filmed those videos, anyway? Maybe Lesly in the house one and a Wheel staffer in the dressing room one?  |

The video was posted when he had his old twitter. The hubcaps background is throwing me off, but that first tweet would sound like something Pat would say, which makes me very unsure. It wouldn't shock me if it's a member here being funny. lol

Confirmation from my inside source -- it's also stuff. Apparently, he's still writing occasionally at Ricochet. I thought he had stopped a while ago, but hadn't checked until now. Serves me right. Anyway, here's the link to his page. Some good comments and posts, as can be expected of Pat, but not a whole lot of snark (understandable, given what he tends to bring up). He also comments on this post about his jab at Mayor Bloomberg's soda policy (drinking from a Big Gulp during one of the New York shows last season). Pat's website (which is linked on the Twitter) has also received a minor update. While it's still a blank teal background with a "PAT SAJAK.com" graphic, this was added: I can't help but think this translates to " Wheel of Fortune is boring." |
