The Hawaii taping sessions start at 6:30 and 10:00 PM local time. A ticket, found by Prizes on Twitter, originally uploaded by @ JonDillGrowShow, gives a bit more information, with respect to the doors open and close time.  Saturday's tapings were for Wheel Goes Waikoloa.  Can't wait to start solving puzzles? Try this one from one of the shows.The likely answer... MINI MARSHMALLOWS

The last Hawaii tapings were for Hawaiian Adventure week, airing February 16-20. Check out these cool closeups of the Wheel and flipper:   If you look closely in the second picture, you can see a small nub with small corners cut out of the layout segments so that they don't slide out of alignment. |

I was watching and episode that I had recorded from this past week and I was watching the credits. I think Family Week / Secret Santa and the main Secret Santa sweepstakes week will air on the weeks of December 8 & 15. I got this because the 5K everyday will not be played during those two weeks.

Because November, along with February and May, are sweeps months, so Wheel (and other game shows) always try to go all-out during these months for ratings. This is why they do Secret Santa in November and they pushed Wheel 6000 week to May rather than celebrating it during the actual week of shows 5996-6000. This season, the first half of the Hawaii shows will air for November sweeps (they always air at least some remote weeks in these months. The New Orleans, Portland, and NYC remotes were all aired throughout May), so that means they can finally air Secret Santa post-Thanksgiving for once. |

New theme weeks have been revealed thanks to a listings update: Bed & Breakfast 12/01-05 Secret Santa confirmed 12/08-19 with the first week doubling as a Family Week Collette Vacations 12/22-26 (this makes me worried that this won't be a proper Christmas-themed week this season) America's Game II 12/29-01/02 Per the official site, there will be tapings on 10/29 and 30, the latter of which are for Collette Vacations, and are Wed/Thu. Looks like the staff is getting Halloween off. How nice. |

It looks like after all the big winnings from the Happy Holidays weeks in season 30, they don't want it anymore (temporarily) and have Secret Santa instead.

I figured AG II might be 12/22-26, with secretly SS 6ths on 12/24 and 25 to fill the gap. A bit disappointed.

That's a good idea, actually. Hopefully they'll do something like that next season, although Secret Santa only had sixth episodes the first time it was done (S29).
