More importantly, that's $1,000 that they could spend adding to one of the many $500s on the Wheel.

Well, at least we won't be seeing the 30 grand again? Although, now that they're doing this, I'm actually kinda curious about what they'll do once season 50 comes around, or even season 40. Unless they raise the second-highest money amount (*cough$75000cough* ), there won't be as much diversity with the money amounts. Like I said before, the minimum amount will seem rather irregular, at least if the season number ends in something other than a 5 or a 0. I guess if it shows up enough times, it won't seem as irregular. If anything, though, one thing I do like about this change is that they're trying to give away more money.

Heck, even Season 35... we still don't know the distribution of the envelopes, but the $35,000 ones are the only other ones that we see decently often. Now imagine almost every envelope being $35,000.

Why didn't they start this last season if this was the track?

Maybe they didn't think of it until now?

Something that I completely forgot about...
To any of our S32 contestants, how did the contestant group/show select process go? Were you grouped arbitrarily with one member drawing a ball of 1-6, or did all 18 of you in the green room draw a ball of 1-6 to see who goes with who and what show you'll be on?

Got my answer. They were grouped arbitrarily as usual. Guess the method for Wheel 6000 week was just an experiment which they realized didn't work after resulting in games with three men, three women, and two people with the same first name.
Also, Halloween Week will not have a sixth episode this year.

You can't spend any of that, so you need to spin the wheel.

I have a question, will the font on the front side of the now purple Mystery Wedges, Bankrupt sides, and bill-less $10,000 sides all stay the same, and will the Bankrupt side be purple too?

Mario: I would kinda like to see more three-man/three-woman shows, or at least something other than 2F/1M all the time. But yeah, players sharing the same first name would be a bit awkward, especially for the folks at home.
Gonzales: I don't think we know yet, we don't have a photo source that I'm aware of. Keep checking back for updates.

Congrats, Josh, for having an unique week in more ways than one. I would maintain the new way, but arbitrarily switch contestants so two with the same name do not occur, if that pops up.

^ I also support the new way, but I wouldn't even switch contestants.
EDIT: Okay, maybe I'd switch only if they had the same first name and last initial.

I'm wondering if the season premiere is going to be in Vegas yet again... So effing tired of them going to Vegas year after year.

I highly doubt it. The only road trip we have heard of for this season is in HI.

Have to say not fond of the $500 bump but with still the $900 regular wedge ceiling. It eliminates variety, which at least had something IMO with $300 minimum. I agree also that $250 does seem to be small for vowel buying, especially now you could buy two with just one correct consonant (personally I think a $750 rate could suffice, or make vowel buying once per spin). I have to say R3 again is turning into an "all-or-nothing" round it seems again as it set to have the Prize Puzzle AND Express (in which only one player had to reap both benefits on one round) in the same round.

And I still think about how if this version played like a few international ones which have a rule that Wheel Prizes and bonuses do not count towards score, the whole Prize Puzzle to win kerfuffle could have been avoided. Granted, all that doop with the brochure puzzles would still exist.

I hope one of the changes for Season 32 is the Wild Card not being vulnerable to Bankrupt. If you ask me, I think it is pointless for the Wild Card to be lost to Bankrupt. It's not a valuable prize token, you know, it's just a token that lets people get an extra letter along the way. I have a board game of Wheel of Fortune at home, and I made cardboard from paper, cut it out and have my family play as contestants with me as host, and in those games, I don't have the Wild Card being vulnerable to Bankrupt. [images of S32 wheels, removed to shorten the post a bit] Oh, come on. They're still pulling the Prize Wedge off after R2? R4 onward still has the other cardboard taken off? You know, for many years, I've had in mind the idea of cardboard being present in R4 and if Pat should spin it when giving the Wheel a final spin, consonants would be worth the value underneath plus $1,000, and the prize/token is awarded to the contestant who solves the puzzle. Looking at these layouts gives me an eerie reminder of Season 17, in which the only differences in the layouts vs. Season 16 were the three $250s changing to $600, $800 and $500.

Just a kinda random comment, I hope that the Final Spin value is based on the current turn players' arrow rather than the red players' arrow (in which usually they get close to the $5000 wedge pattern if it is in Round 4 due to the resetting of the wheel at that round).
