Why would they change that rule now, among all this other money-saving stuff?  They're never going to change that rule, mostly because it makes the million slightly easier to be won. |

Why would they change that rule now, among all this other money-saving stuff? They're never going to change that rule, mostly because it makes the million slightly easier to be won. I just hope they didn't reverse the $500 per consonant rule from Season 30. |

Well, it looks like the show realized that yellow $600 was a dumb idea, because the yellow $900 is back!. Notice the orange $650 is still in place, however. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this is the first time the bare layout changed at least twice in the same season. |

^ That's awesome news! I just replaced it on my homemade wheel! That $900 looks so much better there than $600. I'm ok with the pink $900 changing to $600----that looks fine but that other looked horrible epsecially in the express round.

I think they should replace one of the $650 wedges with a $550 value just to even the pattern. If there is going to be two $900 wedges then add one more $800 wedge. Having two $900 wedges and one $800 wedge on the wheel makes the pattern seem off. I'm okay with having "one $900 and one $800" or "two $800 and one $900".

A picture from KBAK reporter Erin Briscoe, who did a story on Wheel today that will air in November. The yellow $600 to $900 was the only change. At least now we know they didn't decrease anything else to compensate for the $300 gain.  Before anyone says anything about Express or the lack of cardboard, that's how the Wheel is set up before they put any of the cardboard on. They use Express with the R1 layout only for the rehearsal games. |
