Many of us on here, including myself didn't get the letter after our first final audition. So I know how disappointing it can feel, but the silver lining is that you can keep trying and still make it. To any distraught hopefuls out there, my only real advice is to take what you learned from this audition and then bring it and give them 100% at your next one. And remember that it's kind of a big deal to get a callback anyway. They may have people picked already that fit your demographics or it could be any number of thing. Remember, getting to the Finals means they see potential in you and you should too! Believe in yourself and be super super nice to just every single person you interact with at those things. Assume you're always being evaluated even during the breaks.

Dannyangel, Thanks for your post with the encouragement and advice! I definitely appreciate it-- this was indeed my first final audition and I'm very happy I had the chance to participate! It was an adrenaline-fueled fun 3 hours! I just remember that at the Wheelmobile, they told us it had been quite some time since they had been in Denver, so I guess my feeling of disappointment would stem from them probably not coming back again for quite some time. But at the end of the day, I am very happy to have made it as far as I did and will take the fun memories from the experience with me! Still holding out hope for a letter maybe later this week but it's good to remember that life will indeed go on!

Give it until Saturday. I'm definitely going to give it til Saturday at this point. Has anyone gotten the letter out there? Hoping to hear some good news from fellow Denver Wheel watchers. Nothing in the mail today... maybe Labor Day slowed the process up?

Unfortunately, I haven't heard from them yet and I'm thinking you might be right about Labor Day slowing the pace up a bit.

Good luck you guys! Every time I click this thread with the "New - Participated" header, I get a little excited, heh! But also what danny said. My first final was in 2010 and I learned a lot just by going through the process (and then finding these boards again). Crossing my extremities for ya!

I too was at the morning auditions in Denver on September 2nd and made it through to the final cut. Still haven't gotten "the letter" but holding on to a little hope that I am not alone in the wait! Really hope to see somebody in our auditions get into the contestant pool Finally joined the boards after lurking for a week or so. Thanks for all the amazing insight. Enjoying this site so much!

I also haven't seen any recent posts on social media about "the letter", so that's also a good sign, perhaps.

I don't remember if I posted on Twitter, but I certainly posted all over Facebook when the letter came. I think I also posted a pic of the letter on Instagram.

Hey Cowheelfan let's just keep positive and wheel on you never know! Those wheel peeps like to keep it interesting and keep us guessing lol. Maybe like the Broncos we will get a last second blast of luck and good fortune! I was on a food network game show Trivia Unwrapped several years ago and never thought I'd have a chance in H_LL but I made it on and won my game. I'm not giving up hope just yet!!! Thanks guys for "feeling our pain" and understanding our nerves and of course for keeping it real. So proud of all of you that have made it as far as you have, it is certainly an emotional experience on many levels!

Hey all, Since today is the 3 week mark, I feel like it's time to officially throw in the towel. Doesn't look like it worked out this time. Bummer! Just to share a bit of my experience, I feel like I presented myself very well personality-wise & in regards to high positive energy (and was told this by some fellow contestants as we left the audition), but I feel like I didn't do so great in the final round calling letters. I was only able to play one puzzle after the test because of where I was in my group of 6, and I will always have a letter in my mind that I called that will forever haunt me. Oh well! At the end of the day, I'm honestly happy to have been able to participate in the process a bit & get an "inside peek," and I met some terrific people as well that I hope will get a shot & will be on the show this May representing Denver! I know that a bunch of you auditioned several times in the past before you made it, so I guess I'd ask you all, how long did you wait before you auditioned again? I think I've read that you have to wait a year... is that a year after the Wheelmobile? The final audition? And when you did audition again, how did you do so? I feel like getting called onstage at the Wheelmobile was a bit of a fluke, so I don't know if it's worth chasing it down elsewhere (since they don't really seem to come to Denver much... would I have to wait 10 more years?) Or is it worth submitting a video next year & hoping to hear back that way? Just curious as to what you all did after your first final audition. Thanks to all of you for your support these past couple of weeks! I was honestly surprised to see that there was a good number of us on here all from the morning 9/1 audition but that no one got the letter... kind of a bummer for all At any rate, thanks again for the support & encouragement and we'll see what the future holds!

Well, I did get interviewed for dominating the Glimmering Turquoise Water puzzle at the final audition and made it in the local FOX31 News, so that was a great audition for me. 3 weeks may have gone by, but who knows? It is possible that the letter might be here in about a month or so.

Given you're all Denver folks, and that is one of the Great American City cities, my guess (purely speculation) is that the process will be a bit different for you, in that you'll be informed closer to tape date. The FOX31 report seemed to indicate all 15 players that week would be from the Centennial State. If nothing else, co-sign what Mario says. It's a bit of a hectic time for them, given the regular season it starting, what that means for promotions and marketing departments, and the like. I can't see there being any possible way we have all those lovely BAVers, and none of you gets on, unless one or more of you is hiding that you in fact got the letter.

Yeah, I was going to say it would be weird if NO ONE posting here got the letter after reading the best advice there is on the internet about auditioning for WoF!

We don't want to say that we have the letter when we really don't have it yet, Jess. Anyways, if any of us do get the letter, we'll be more than happy to make the announcement on here once we really do have it.
