Hi Leslie,
I was at the same audition this morning. I wish I had seen your post yesterday so I could have said hello! I am disappointed I wasn't one that got called to stay longer. I practiced what I was going to say when the "interview" came around. I feel like I didn't do so well on the test and can only remember Dallas Cowboys and Persian Cat. I know I filled in a few others but not sure if they were correct. I wish I had done better. I know they say just because you didn't get to stay longer it doesn't mean they didn't choose you. Leslie, how did you do on the test? The girl I was sitting next to said she didn't do well but we also didn't tak about how many she got right either and she was asked to stay. Now the 2 week count down begins.

I solved 11 of the puzzles....did you think there were 16, total? Felt like I had four unsolved. But that time goes by SO fast, I didn't count (:

Remember, they changed the criteria for being asked to stay. If you're not asked to stay after the test, you can still get the letter.  That's exactly what happened to me and a few others from this season. |

I feel like I did ok in that with the excitement and volume but the written test could have gone better. There were 16 puzzles and 5 minutes is not long enough! |

It is, but don't lose hope! And if it wasn't meant to be in the end, just think about what you might have done wrong and you'll do better next time. It took me two final auditions to make the show, and I know for others, it took more. |

Same story as MarioGS. I was asked to leave after the test but got the letter 2 weeks later (after my second final audition). They also take your video and Wheelmobile interview into account if you did one of those. (I mean, I'm just guessing they have to because they wouldn't have picked me without seeing I could string together a few sentences).

I told myself, after today I am not allowed to think about WOF. If I make it then I make it. If not, well that's ok too. Of course I would LOVE to make it.  ? I still can't get over the written test. And I really wanted to do the "interview." I had an idea of what I was going to say and I feel like they would have gotten a better sense of my personality. Oh well. Fingers crossed! |

Thank you!!! And . . . . DUH. Now that I think back over ALL the posts you helpful folks have provided on what to expect, I DO remember you saying we stand up . . .not that we go on stage. Just had stage fixed in my mind, from being at a Wheelmobile event for three hours  I am SO excited. I could probably die happy just getting to tomorrow's audition! Wish my hubby could come, so we could fit into their request for grandparents. I am sure that would give me better chances for consideration, but the post office does not see fit to let him off work ): Today makes two weeks since our final audition, did you get a letter yet? |

This is going to sound pessimistic and I don't want to sound mean at all, (and I hope I'm wrong!), but I don't know of anyone that was cut after the puzzle test and made the show without either submitting a video or getting on stage at the Wheelmobile. That is, I think they need to have some sort of "personality interview" on file whether in-person or through video or Wheelmobile.

Yep - I only have two reasons to hope. My video (which is how I received an invite to the audition) and my written test solves (11 of 16). I sure didn't dazzle anyone with only two letter calls during the audition ): ): ):

Not for me ): Tomorrow is three weeks, so my hopes are fading. I know the Denver contestants received them on week 4, so I have some hope (:

I think they should focus more on personality then a written test though. Yes, I think the written test is important but I've noticed some on the show may be good puzzle solvers but have no personality. I may not be great at solving 16 puzzles in 5 minutes but I think I have personality and I am decent at solving when I am able to call letters. Just my opinion. |
