This picture of the Wheel was posted on Instagram by @khmakerd. It is now wrapped in plastic when not in use likely to prevent wandering Sony lot tourists from trying to spin or tamper with it. The funky four-digit layout is gone, but the segments of the regular layout (which has no significant changes from what I can make out) are arranged in a different order. Hopefully this is just to keep them on the Wheel and it will be in the right order for the tapings. The Bankrupts are way too close together like this.  |

The Express wedge doesn't "go over" anything. They have to "cut away" the wedge that goes in its place because, like Free Play, it's plugged into the Wheel itself rather than simply attached on top of the layout.

I actually kind of like the layout above. The only change I would make is switch the spots of the two orange wedges. Here's what each round looks like on my wheel considering each round is played like season 33: ROUND 1:  ROUND 2:  ROUND 3:  ROUND 4+:  |

I got my letter in November from the Philly auditions. I originally did a video to audition. It's posted in a thread somewhere around here. Good luck next week. You'll do great. |

Honestly, I hope that they don't keep them in that way for the rest of the season. It doesn't make any sense. Having into account the position of the Free Play wedge (which doesn't seem to be placed on the Wheel in that moment), the Express wedge would replace the $800 wedge, so there wouldn't be any $800 spaces during R3. Another way of saving money... |

Like Robert said, the staff at Sony should be putting the layout in its proper order before they start taping and before the contestants get a chance to practice spinning that enormous wheel with Gary O'Brien and the ladies. |

Still the same as it was in the other photos, but I can't help but wonder if this will only be used as like a practice layout for all the week's contestants similar to this. germanname.deviantart.com/art/Template-Mix-Up-157521047 I guess we'll find out as early as tomorrow. If this does end up being used as the Season 34 layout, however, it will set a record for smallest number of wedges between Bankrupts, breaking 5 on the Round 2 layouts used from 1976 to 1978. On top of that, something tells me that this is an effort to change the layout. I like how they're changing the layouts every season, and I'm starting to believe this is what they're trying to do as well just to keep the show fresh. http://instagr.am/p/BHz35QODoOo |
