Season 34 Taping/Airing Schedule

Okay, then. Let me know when that happens, Wheel.

Yes, a new bonus round minimum. So exciting. Yay.

I wouldn't be surprised at this point if they just go "one Big One, one Car, and the rest are $34,000".


I wanted to bold-tag this since I think it could easily be read without the Y in there, given Secret Santa has almost always been done for November sweeps and pretty much serves as Wheel's annual Christmas celebration in lieu of an actual Christmas-y week in mid-December.

Seriously, I don't understand that latter part. November sweeps I get (ratings and all that), but not doing a Christmas week for the week of Christmas, or the week leading up to it, leaves me scratching my head every year.

tvtix.com shows taping dates on September 22nd and 23rd.

Looks like maybe another Disney week is taping today? Set is the same as yesterday and Wheel is still posting pictures of the characters on set. Also, this was posted on a crew member's Snapchat:




Looking closely, the puzzle appears to be:

Holy crap, they're actually showing colors that aren't shades of purple! The set looks like it actually has color now!

(Not counting the Wheel, arrows, and player displays, of course.)

Also, and this is probably gonna sound dumb coming from me, but when did the puzzle board go from having three "steps" at the base to just two?

I remember about a year ago, there was a picture on Instagram of a group of people taking pictures around the Wheel on the empty set during the offseason. One of them even ripped up the $5000 wedge and posed with it. According to the person who posted it, they were chased off the set by security. I don't know if anyone else remembers that post, but it's too buried to find now.

This is one of those times I wish they disclosed the ages of the people in the article. Not to shame them or anything like that, but because it'd give some indication as to whether "Grandparents Week" is really Grandparents Who Aren't Seniors Week. (After all, you can be a grandparent at 36, and that's well within the generally-desired ratings demographic.)

ray and I got the email today! We will be taping on Thursday, September 22nd for Sears Secret Santa Family Week, airing 11/28/16-12/2/16. I am assuming they will be filming the regular Secret Santa week the following day and that it will air the week after ours. We are very excited!
