I remember an episode recently where someone went from $0 to $30,000 in the Speed-Up, but still ended up losing. Anyone know when this episode was?

On 10/12/09, someone went from 5000 (off of toss-ups) to 35000, but still lost to 38500.

Thanks. That's the one I was thinking of. That HAS to be the highest 2nd-place total.

I should just make this a "rolling questions" thread.
Here's one for the group: I remember several years ago a Toss-Up where nobody even rang in. I'm pretty sure it was in Season 20, and that the answer was WHAT A RELIEF. Does anyone remember this, or any other specific time where no one even rang in on a Toss-Up?
Also, when did the first Prize move from Round 2 to Round 1?

I believe the prize wedge moved to Round 1 in Season 23 (2005).

So I'm scouring through the internet, and I found an interesting anecdote and picture. Since I'm no expert on the show, I'm turning to you folks for help. * I've found this picture celebrating the daytime show's 3,000th episode. I have no idea when this aired (December '86/January '87?), and Google turns up nothing. I fear it may have been the 3,000th combined episode (counting both daytime and nighttime). * Per this post on Golden-Road.net, there was a nighttime Clue round circa 1991-92 of FIRST WHEEL OF FORTUNE HOST, with the contestant knowing the answer ( Todd Russell Edd Byrnes Chuck Woolery*). The same post also claims another Clue puzzle was JEOPARDY'S FIRST ANSWER MAN, to which the answer would obviously be Gil Fates Art Fleming**. Thanks for any help. {* Because, to be honest, that's pretty debatable.} {** And so is that. Google CBS Television Quiz.}

^I would assume, then, that you can't help me to confirm whether any of the moments I stated actually happened. That was the whole point of my post.

I am wondering what dollar amounts are underneath the "25", "$10,000" and "Surprise" wedges, and "Free Spin" discs during the run?
could anybody please let me know? Thanks in advance!

Well, the $10,000 wedge and the Free Spin have covered multiple wedges... let me see what I can do.
$10,000 Wedge:
1994 (or 1995) - 1996 on Bankrupt. 1996 - 2001 on the Tan $300. 2001 - 2008 on the orange $800.
Free Spin Disc:
1989 - 1996 on multiple wedges. 1996 - 2006 on the Teal $300. 2006 - 2009 on the Green $300.
Surprise Wedge:
1992 - 1996 on the Orange $200(?) 1996 - 1997 on the Yellow $400 next to LaT.
25 Wedge:
On the other Yellow $400.

Also, the feature prizes that had the pictured wedges starting later in the 1990s, what spaces did they cover?
And what dollar amount/space did the Million Dollar Wedge cover?
I know the feature prizes prior to 1986 covered the $150 located two wedges to the left of the Lose A Turn. But what amounts and its location did the feature prizes cover from 1986 onward?

I asked that question in another thread so I knew where to put them in my game, but this answer only covers up to 1996 because that's when the timeframe I was talking about ended: In normal circumstances, on the nighttime round 2 wheels used from the first syndicated episode in 1983 until the Big Month/Bonanza Cash started in the fall of 1987, there was only one spot worth $150. That's where the prize would sit, and it was only available in round two. From the start of the Big Bonanza of Cash until sometime in 1989 (most likely the season 7 premiere), it was on the $150 space in round 2 just a couple spaces to the left of the Lose A Turn (the $150 space that would increase to $500 in 1991). Starting in 1989, it was placed on the other $150 space. However, just like before, it was only available in round 2. By 1992 perhaps, it was available for the rest of the game if it wasn't picked up. From 1987 to about 1991, if the round 3 wheel was also used for round 4, the prize would be placed on the sole $150 spot. Also starting at the Big Bonanza of Cash, a second prize was offered in round 4. It would be placed on the $300 spot where the $3500 sat in round 3 (although template halves were changed between rounds 3 and 4). By the time of the early 90s, other designated spots for a prize on the round four wheel at the time were the orange $200 a couple spaces to the right of the Bankrupt (where the Surprise wedge would normally sit when it premiered in 1992) and the blue $200 next to the Lose A Turn. I believe the prize wedge is on $350 right now, but someone will have to correct me if I am wrong. ETA: The MDW is on the orange $800.

I just checked a 1998 episode on YouTube, and the prize covered the $350 wedge back then as well.
There was another prize during Round 3 as well (the Theater wedge), but I will have to check out WheelGenius's DeviantArt page to find out what dollar amount it covered.
EDIT: Just checked the same episode, and the Theater wedge was landed on. It covered the yellow $400 (2 wedges to the right of a Bankrupt).

A long time ago, I remember seeing an episode where nobody even rang in on a Toss-Up. If I remember correctly, the answer was WHAT A RELIEF, and it was the $3,000 Toss-Up. I'm almost 100% certain it was in season 20 — I know I became a regular watcher in Season 21, and I'm pretty sure I saw this on a weekend rerun. Anyone else remember this?

Does anybody know what season the last celebrity week (celebrities playing for charity) took place?
Thanks in advance!

If you count celebrity/team shows, the last one was in Season 25 taped in New York.
I believe the last non-team celebrity show was Halloween of 2000 (Season 18), where three celebrites played in costume and their identities were revealed at the end of the show.

Oh wow, that sounds like an interesting thing which would be fun to see again. Who were the celebs that played? Are the shows available on Youtube or another source?

The Halloween 2000 show WAS on Youtube... According to the timeline, the show actually aired November 2. The celebrites were Richard Simmons, Tara Lipinski, and none other than Alex Trebek. I don't know if the Season 25 shows are available anywhere to see. Maybe there are tape traders out there that have them.

I don't know if the Season 25 shows are available anywhere to see. Maybe there are tape traders out there that have them. I of course still have that whole week on DVR, since I was in the audience! But unfortunately, that's DVR. I don't know a way to submit DVR material in any way, shape or form anywhere. I wish I could. And if you look when they show the audience at the start of the BR of the Tuesday and Wednesday shows that week, if you look among the very small dots representing the faces of audience members, you could just maybe see me! I was not far from the front row when those two taped!
