Although it's located in the Central Time Zone, ABC affiliate KLTV in Tyler, Texas might also be pre-empting Wheel tomorrow. Listings show that their 6:00 newscast will be extended to an hour right before the game and Wheel is not listed at all. However, their website says that the newscast is the usual half hour with Wheel unaffected at 6:30. I sent them a Facebook message asking which scheduling is correct and they never responded. According to a Tyler viewer in the WOF Facebook Group, KLTV did air Wheel at its normal time despite not having it listed.
On Friday, KABC Los Angeles had Jeopardy! listed at 9:00PM PT and Wheel at 9:30, two hours later than usual. However, they ended up airing in reverse order while the opposite show was listed. Several Jeopardy! fans in the area voiced their outrage on Twitter, especially those that had it scheduled to record and ended up recording Wheel instead. At least Wheel likely got a few extra viewers that night. Take that, Jeopardy!-only people!  |

For any Sacramento viewers, Wheel will be shown at 9:30 PM this Thursday and Friday due to the NFL Draft.
Jeopardy! will also be moved to the 9:00 slot during those two days as well.

KGO San Francisco changed their Wheel scheduling, and not for the better. Thursday's episode at 10:00PM PT is now a bit later at 10:30. Friday's episode was originally scheduled for 9:00 right after J! at 8:30, but they have now decided to air a rerun of 20/20 at 9:00 and Wheel is now bumped to 2:00 AM, replacing most of ABC World News Now and it also seems they will be cutting off Right This Minute which airs at 1:42. ^ Definitely. Multiple stations that originally didn't have Friday's J! scheduled at all such as WPLG Miami are now suddenly finding slots for it but not for Wheel. WJLA Washington DC and WABC New York are both pre-empting Wheel's Saturday rerun tomorrow at 7:30 with Friday's J!. WJLA isn't airing Friday or Saturday's Wheel at all. WABC is airing Friday's at 2:35 AM that night, with both Wheel and J!'s Saturday reruns at 4:30 and 5:00 AM Sunday morning (reverse order). J!'s Saturday at 7:30 airing is listed as a rerun so many fans are upset that it looks like WABC is doing a make-good of Wheel but not J! I have never, ever seen WABC air J! in a 7:30 time slot before, so yes, it is getting extra-special treatment right now. And most are pushing Wheel aside, sadly.
Three more updates on Wheel scheduling, all positive. WTEN in Albany originally had Wheel scheduled for 1:35AM ET and Jeopardy! for 2:05. Last night, they announced that both game shows will move to sister station WXXA (FOX) at their normal times, replacing a local newscast and a rerun of Judge Judy. However, listings still have the former scheduling. WTVD in Durham (an ABC O&O) originally had J! scheduled for 1:37 AM and Wheel for 2:00 (no idea how J! would fit in that slot unless Wheel started a bit after 2). Last night, they tweeted that Jeopardy! would air at 1:35 and Friday's Wheel would instead air Saturday at 7:30 in place of the rerun due to a local couple competing on that episode. They deleted the tweet shortly afterwards likely because none of that applied to Thursday. Listings still have the former scheduling so you will have to record the rerun in order to record Friday's episode. That was awfully nice of them to do that for the couple. Meanwhile, WKRN Nashville forced one of last night's couples to stay up past midnight to catch their show. WMTW in Maine originally had Wheel at 2:07 AM and J! at 2:37. They have now announced that they will be airing both shows' Friday episodes on Saturday in place of their usual reruns. Listings still follow the previous scheduling. In addition to the many markets affected by the NFL Draft, tonight's Wheel will also be pre-empted on three NBC affiliates in North Dakota by a North Dakota State College Football game airing from 6:30-8:00PM PT, affecting Wheel and a new episode of The Blacklist.
KVLY in Fargo is moving Wheel to sister station KXJB (CBS), replacing local program Point of View With Chris Berg. The affected The Blacklist episode is not airing at all.
KFYR in Bismarck and KUMV in Williston are both airing Friday's episode of Wheel Sunday morning at 11:30AM CT, followed by local news, then the affected The Blacklist episode at 1:00 PM.
By the way, the show is aware of the pre-emptions, so for those of you entering the sweepstakes this week, you can enter anything at all in the bonus puzzle solution box and it will count.

Probably a late warning for anyone who’s recording, but just in case anyone’s still up tonight. Unless the station promoted it, most people probably wouldn't have known to record because infomercials were still listed at 2:37 and 3:07 instead of J! and Wheel, and the 3:07 slot was listed as 3:07-3:30, so a recording of that slot while Wheel was on likely would not have captured the whole show. The schedule on WATM's website did have the game shows, however. Are the preemptions worse (for Wheel) than usual because Jeopardy has a huge story going right now? It's so bad that stations are outright forgetting Wheel exists. WJLA Washington DC, which didn't have any airings of Wheel or Jeopardy! scheduled on Friday, made announcements on their social media pages that Friday's Jeopardy! would replace the Saturday rerun at its regular time, but made no mention of Wheel, nor responded to comments asking "What about Wheel?". While both shows did air on Saturday at their usual times, Wheel was still the rerun while J! was the Friday episode. WABC New York also made a special promo announcing Friday's J! would air Saturday at 7:30 (usually Wheel's time). It aired right between the Millionaire rerun and the overnight make-good of Wheel. They also posted on their Facebook page announcing J!'s move, but made no mention of Wheel's overnight airing (although their Twitter mentioned both, and they also mentioned both near the end of the 6:00 news and the listings did have Wheel, while J! was still listed as a rerun on Saturday which made some people miffed that they were supposedly treating Wheel better). |

Tonight’s show is being pre-empted in Omaha and (sigh) Boston.
KETV Omaha is airing a local news special titled The Chronicle at 6:30PM CT. Wheel will be airing at 1:37 AM in place of Right This Minute. Listings also have Wheel on its MeTV subchannel an hour early at 5:30 PM, but this is probably just a copy/paste from last Friday. KETV’s website still has The Jeffersons in that slot.
WBZ Boston is once again pre-empting Wheel (and not the other game show) with a half-hour edition of Patriots All Access. Wheel will air at 2:07AM ET in place of Paid Programming.

Another severe weather "special" in the Midwest pre-empting Wheel...
KWWL in Eastern Iowa (NBC) is the culprit this time. Today's episode of Wheel will air at 1:32AM CT early Sunday morning as part of a double run with the Saturday rerun (at 2:02), which is pre-empted on all NBC affiliates this weekend by back-to-back coverage of the Preakness Stakes and Stanley Cup playoffs.
Jeopardy! is unaffected, because of course it is.

Well, it looks like the ridiculous special may have been moot. There were some bad storms in Texas and Oklahoma today, so Wheel and other shows likely got pre-empted on some stations in those areas for coverage. KCBD Lubbock's coverage spilled over into primetime, resulting in several complaints on their social media pages for pre-empting The Voice.
BTW, a lot of local pre-emptions and West Coast sports pre-emptions coming in the next couple weeks. Check the OP for a little preview.

Where'd you get the info on WBRE pre-empting Wheel on the 3rd? All I've seen is the local telethon is only gonna be on WYOU by 7 which only effects the local news and Entertainment Tonight instead of interfering with Wheel and J!
