Part of the reason the current generation loves Jeopardy! so much is not just because of Alex, but because of the cool things you can learn, and how rewarding it is to know the answers you already know. One of the major things that keeps J! Another reason Jeopardy! is so popular these days is because of the sky's-the-limit rule for returning champions. That set the stage not only for Ken Jennings but also other notable champions like James Holzhauer, Austin Rogers, Julia Collins, Matt Jackson, etc. And last year Jeopardy! surged in popularity especially due to James Holzhauer's 32-game winning streak where he obliterated several records and came close to Ken Jennings's cash record in regular competition (he then went on to win the 2019 ToC last November and competed in the Greatest of All Time tournament with Ken and Brad back in January). I can definitely see why I like watching Jeopardy! far more than Wheel. |

The show being added to Netflix undoubtedly helped it as well. All the while, Wheel was paid dust as usual.

You know what would be really smart - Wheel taking advantage of their relationship with Disney by leasing a package of episodes to stream on Disney+, especially the various Disney-sponsored weeks of the past decade. It would especially make sense if J! is not removed from Hulu, since both streaming networks are under the same ownership. |

These past several years have essentially been Wheel's "Wii U" era. Their "Switch" era has to come eventually. More like its GameCube era, since Wheel is still managing and things didn't change abruptly. A Wii U era would come rather abruptly, maybe like syndicated Deal or No Deal. |

News on Jeopardy: Found this page with Alex on the set; thank god he’s doing fine. Because of all the mail around him, we don’t get a preview of the set, however, we do get a preview of the new logo, and, it’s gonna bring some nostalgia.

We don't know yet. I won't be surprised if they just stick with the S37 logo, since they now tend to keep logos the same for multiple seasons except for milestone seasons like 30 and 35.

They should keep Season 37's logo. I like it. On days they tape they share posts on their Instagram story. They have not been doing that recently. If they would post on tape days we'd know what the logo looks like. Their recent Instagram post showing they will be posting the top 12 moments of Season 37 the caption said "as we get ready for our new season starting in September" so that's means they have been taping. I don't know why they wouldn't want to post on their story on tape days though

^ Knew it. Here's a possible reason for why Teachers Week is taped first and aired first. Teachers are working every week day during the school year which the show tapes most of the season during. So they tape it in the summer which teachers have more off days.
