Probably because it's better for everyone's safety to just keep the generic set in place and cover it with murals and small decor, rather than haul the large set pieces in and out. Less labor on property means less risk.

They're probably swapped. But we don't know what they're doing yet. Remember that last Election Day's decision to air the week as Mon-Sat-Tue-Wed-Thu-Fri was so last-minute that most TV listings didn't follow that order. As of today, my station has the 11/3 ep completely skipped and still a rerun on 11/7.

And now I've just learned that Wednesday 11/4 has been rescheduled to Tuesday 11/3, so there will be a new episode on Election Day this year for the very few parts of the country that bother with it.

I have a feeling we won’t be seeing the big haunted house in the middle of the stage for Halloween week this year, given how every week so far the “generic borders” have been out.

And it looks like I was right.... Honestly, I am getting tired of seeing the "generic borders" week after week... I mean yes I get that they may be doing it to reduce transmission of the virus, but if they wore face masks and maybe even gloves, I don't think it would've killed them to bring the set that they have used for the Halloween weeks since season 28 (at least) out. Makes me wonder if they are going to keep the same set out all year? Honestly I hope not, as it's going to be weird and seem out of place for the Secret Santa weeks.... I mean come on, it really looks like they didn't even try to spruce up the set this year, they just added a few hay bails, pumpkins, and cornstalks here and there, changed the lighting a little bit (very little in my opinion) and added a few spooky sounds.... I have to give an honest rating here, and compared to all the Halloween weeks of the past, on a scale of 1-10, the set design is MAYBE a 4, as they did put SOME effort into it, but not much. I am done with my rant for now lol.

^ That's not an honest rating. That's complaining. It's a global pandemic and they are doing the dead level best they can to produce the show and fall within the necessary guidelines. I've seen more people complain about how they're doing things instead of being happy we're getting any new shows at all. Do you realize how ridiculous they would look wearing gloves and facemasks the whole show? Furthermore, wearing gloves is the most ridiculous and ineffective thing to do. They're doing their best. Stop nitpicking and give them some due credit, at least!

Now that I’m going back and rereading what I said I do realize what I was saying was complaining. I was however talking about the set designers wearing masks and gloves if they were to change out the set pieces. Not everyone on the show, as yes I agree that would look silly. Yes I am ecstatic that we are getting new episodes. I apologize if I offended anyone, and the rating I was giving was from my point of view not saying it was everyone else’s. I also want to apologize of I caused any uproar on this thread.

If anyone at Wheel is reading this...why are you offering trips during a pandemic, especially to countries that have banned incoming US flights for their own safety? How hard is it to swap out the trips for cash and/or Sony electronics packages and stop doing the Prize Puzzle until we're past this whole mess?

Well with the set swap, it gives me a glimmer of hope that we will be seeing the secret Santa set as usual. Like I said I’m not trying to complain, but if they can change out the set for something as simple as spa getaway week, it makes me scratch my head on why they couldn’t for Halloween week.... The other weeks I understand as it kind of fit...
