If Home Sweet Home is another Margaritaville week, I hope they don't do another house giveaway or sweepstakes, because that's the same week as the NFL Draft, so at least one of the week's episodes (two on the West Coast) won't air on ABC affiliates.

I can now confirm that Rail Tour taped Thursday, October 22, 2020, which means Winter Break surely taped Friday, October 23. Wednesday the 21st was confirmed to be Happy New Year! week. That taping's AG show already aired back on January 7.

I just received word that Season 38 has already finished taping as of March 12. Actually, looks like they weren't done just yet. There were tapings today (March 26) as well. Winners of the Arizona Lottery's WOF Second Chance sweepstakes were originally supposed to fly to LA to see a taping, but the pandemic delayed that, so the winners instead got to watch today's tapings remotely, but they are not acting as a "virtual audience" like some TV shows have been doing. No word on what theme or air dates taped. |

California Coast taped on Thursday, February 25. One of the contestants this week tweeted about going to the studio to tape that day (even though they shouldn't have).
Great Escapes week taped Friday, March 12.

Maybe just ensuring that each contestant has some family that they could take on a vacation, and making the trip prizes for more (maybe for 4 people)? Not that the family actually has to be there to play (though I suppose they could have some type of thing to bring up the family on the screen behind the players, either taped or a quick intro. via a zoom type call).

California Coast taped on Thursday, February 25. Inns of New England taped Wednesday, March 10. This likely means there were no tapings on Friday, February 26. Inns was part of a three-day taping week, which was followed by Margaritaville Family Vacation and Great Escapes.
There actually were tapings on 2/26. Here's what happened...
California Coast was supposed to tape the usual six episodes on 2/25. However, the taping was cut short after the second show (Tuesday 4/20) due to someone in the studio testing positive for COVID.
The next day, 2/26, they taped the remaining three episodes of California Coast (Wed-Fri 4/21-23) and two America's Game episodes, the first of which aired Monday 5/31. If you go back to the 4/20 and 4/21 episodes, you'll notice that Vanna's hairstyle is a bit different in the latter episode. In all, seven episodes were taped on the California Coast set: two on one day, and five on another day.
It is likely that 2/26 was originally supposed to be Inns of New England, but got delayed to 3/10, causing a three-day taping week. They probably decided to replace a potential America's Game episode from the Inns of New England set with a second one from the California Coast set so they wouldn't have to tape 18 episodes in a single week. Aside from this, they stopped doing three-day taping weeks after January.
This also means Season 38 had 35 tapings instead of the usual 34.

Another season is gone!
The covid rules adopted have made the game even more dynamic and beautiful to watch.
