Wednesday's Wheel was partially pre-empted on WWLP in Springfield, Massachusetts due to two severe weather coverage cut-ins.
Also on Wednesday, KWWL in Cedar Rapids, IA pre-empted all of its programming from about 4-11 PM Central due to several tornado warnings.

For Saturday's NBA, Wheel air times on affected ABC stations are the same as the weekdays with only one exception: KGO San Francisco will air Saturday's episode at 2:30 AM (Sunday) instead of 3:00. Several markets have 9-11 PM listed as TBA, but the schedule is expected to be the same.
Also, on Thursday, July 29, one week after the potential Game 7, Wheel will once again be pre-empted on all West Coast ABC stations due to Round 1 of the NBA Draft, which runs from 8-11 ET/5-8 PT. Unlike the NFL Draft, ABC only airs the first round.

Saturday's Wheel is pre-empted on West Coast CBS stations due to the 2021 SRX Series (auto racing), which is scheduled from 8-10 ET followed by a repeat of 48 Hours on the East Coast.
In the Mountain Time Zone, 48 Hours will air at 9:00, so there is a maximum one-hour gap at 8:00 for stations to air local programming. Most WOF/J! affiliates are airing those shows in that hour, so Wheel will get joined in progress on some of them if the race runs over. KRQE in Albuquerque and the four CBS's in Montana opted to fill the 8:00 hour with a repeat of NCIS: New Orleans instead. KRQE is airing Wheel at 12:35 AM Monday morning. Montana aired Wheel early at 4:30 PM Saturday afternoon.
Though the race is scheduled to end at 7:00 Pacific Time, two of the three Pacific CBS's are airing local news at 7:00, so Wheel will air slightly later tonight. KLAS in Las Vegas at 8:30 and KBAK in Bakersfield at 9:30. KVAL in Eugene, OR is keeping J!/WOF at 7:00 immediately after the race, and I believe they have ran J! in its entirety after overruns in the past, so Wheel may be affected there.

CBS's racing broadcast ended on time. ABC once again signed off late from NBA with East Coast newscasts starting at 11:42. Hopefully KABC still opts to end Slam Dunk at 9:30 on the dot, and if they do run it for a full hour followed by Kimmel, hopefully J! gets JIP'd when Kimmel ends instead of running J! in full and JIP'ing Wheel (I don't believe KABC has ever done that, though). (EDIT: Kimmel is on at 9:36 on KABC so it must have started "on time")
Milwaukee won this game. If they win Tuesday's game, Wheel will air at its normal time on West Coast ABC's on Thursday.

WPXI is now airing Weekend Wheel twice. I caught it at 4:00 AM this morning as usual, and it is also airing right now at 7:30 PM, the same episode. This is likely an oversight on their part since no run of Wheel is allowed to air twice a day. They probably still have it set to automatically slot at 4:00 AM even though their Penguins show is done. They caught on to this. 4:00 AM last Saturday was Just for Laughs Gags. |

WROC in Rochester accidentally replayed last Friday's episode on Monday.
Although Monday's episode was originally pre-empted in much of the East Coast, it was only the majority of 7:30 airings, so luckily, WROC did get this episode the first time. Hope none of the three SPIN ID winners live there, though.

^ That’s the good news.
The bad news is that Tuesday’s Wheel is partially or completely gone on most West Coast ABC’s thanks to the network’s endless postgame covetage. It ran almost an hour after the game itself finished. East Coast newscasts didn’t start until 12:35 AM.
The only West Coast airings of Wheel tonight that even have a chance of airing in full are the 10:30 airings, and there is a chance that they may have the first few minutes cut off if they show J! in its entirely after Kimmel, and that’s disregarding the stations that will opt for local news before 11:00.
I really hope Diana’s SPIN ID winner doesn’t watch on a West Coast ABC.

More specials in Upstate NY pre-empting Wheel tonight and Saturday. Another "season" of "Destination New York". WIVB aired tonight's Wheel on WNLO (CW). WTEN will air it at 1:06 AM Eastern. WROC will air it at 1:37 AM Eastern ... WIVT will probably air Wednesday's ep on Friday at 5:00 PM going by precedent. They never list these specials. Another one of these aired on Wednesday. I guess Secret Santa doesn't mean anything to affiliates anymore, or anything regarding Wheel for that matter... |

For NBC affiliates that are carrying The Olympic Zone, most aren't starting it until Saturday, but the O&O's and a few others are starting it Thursdays.
I have found two NBC Wheel pre-emptions for Thursday:
First, starting today, Pittsburgh will air Wheel on the Pittsburgh Cable News Channel weeknights at 7:30 PM Eastern through August 6 due to The Olympic Zone on WPXI.
Second, some Nexstar-owned NBC affiliates are airing an encore of a special titled Journey to Japan: Dreams on Hold, which first aired in January. It will air sometime this week or weekend depending on the affiliate. I have only found one airing of this that impacts Wheel: on WETM in Elmira, NY, Wheel will air on 18.2 Antenna TV in place of Modern Family. That will be Wheel's temporary station for the entirety of the Olympics, including Saturdays.
O&O KNSD in San Diego still has Wheel on the schedule for tonight and J! is pre-empted since the games haven't started yet, so Olympic Zone airs at 7:30 instead of 4:30 on the West Coast.
More long-term Olympic pre-emption info coming soon. For now, I'm focusing on Thursday and Friday. Very few NBC affiliates will be airing Wheel at all on Friday.

According to Wheel, no Secret Santa winnings were claimed from Friday's episode, likely since so much of the country didn't air it.
Maybe that was the point of doing Secret Santa at this time, combined with the fact that the episodes were still listed as reruns on TV listings which led to so many social media posts along the lines of: "My guide says these are repeats, are the SPIN ID's the same as last time?"
