^ That is now being confirmed, but network and time are still unknown. It’s expected to remain on NBC primetime.
If that is the case, hopefully NBC will keep the Thanksgiving scheduling and not start pregame until 8:00, unlike the kickoff and Thursday Night Football games that had pregame start at 7:00 or 7:30, affecting Wheel virtually nationwide.

For Black Friday, FOX scheduling for Wheel is mostly the same as yesterday (see previous page). There are only two differences: WALA Mobile will be making up Wheel this time, at 2:30 AM Central (cc: captainfortune ). KDVR Denver is pre-empting Wheel this time, not because of the game, but because of a local special titled "Destination Colorado Winter Edition". Wheel will air at 1:35 AM Mountain. Other pre-emptions tonight:
WBZ - Boston, MA - CBS: The usual.
WHIO - Dayton, OH - CBS: Wheel will air at 1:37 AM Eastern due to the "Dayton Holiday Festival Grande Illumination".
WKBN - Youngstown, OH - CBS: Wheel will air at 2:34 AM Eastern due to a local special on Small Business Saturday.
WIVT - Binghamton, NY - ABC: The 7:00 PM hour is listed as TBA on Zap2It with no Wheel, but it might be a mistake. There is no mention of any special tonight on their website or social media.
WPBF - West Palm Beach, FL - ABC: Wheel is not slated to be airing at all, due to a local newscast makeup after College Football. This is the only ABC station that airs Wheel at 7:00 Eastern that is doing this, from what I've found. WPBF is not airing a Sunday afternoon rerun this week, either.
Black Friday is one of my most hated days to be an ABC Wheel Watcher, because it's basically a coin flip on whether Wheel will get to air or not. I'll just quote my info from last year. If you watch Wheel on an ABC station in the Eastern or Central Time Zone, you might not get some or any of the show because College Football is a very finicky sport when it comes to timing.
ABC (EAST COAST)
If the game or postgame runs later than 7:00 PM Eastern, Wheel will pre-empted in part or in full on the following ABC stations that air it at that time:

Ravens Steelers game this week has tentatively been moved to Tuesday. I don't know yet if the game will stay on NBC or not but if it does then we may see a preemption on NBC stations on Tuesday. It is tentatively so we could possibly see another move of the game Update 3:14 PM: Cowboys Ravens game scheduled for next Thursday night had been moved as well because the Ravens can't play 2 games in the span of 3 days. So that's gonna erase a Fox preemption next Thursday
The NFL has officially announced that the Ravens/Steelers game will air on NBC at 8:00 PM Eastern on Tuesday, December 1. There is no mention of a 7:30 pregame show, but WPXI Pittsburgh will probably air their own pregame show like they had planned for Thursday. Regardless, Wheel is affected on NBC's in the Mountain and Pacific Time Zone.
The Cowboys/Ravens game originally scheduled for Thursday on FOX has now been moved to Monday, December 7 at 5:00 PM Eastern. This will affect Wheel on all East Coast FOX stations, and possibly KDVR Denver as well.

And WABC cut into J! during the last correct response ("What is Swiss Miss?") before Alex threw to the first break.
Some of the 7:30/6:30 airings of Wheel will probably also cut off TU1 and the interviews for the end of local news.
WPVI Philadelphia has J! listed, but they began airing local news starting at 7:04, with J! airing on 6.2 Localish. Assuming they run that for a full half hour, Wheel probably won't start until mid-R1 (or they might replace it with J!)

WLS Chicago and WPVI Philadelphia both cut into Wheel around 7:33 during what I assume was the first spin of R1 (typical MDW Bankrupt starter from a female player). Fellow O&O WTVD Raleigh did not run their news past 7:30 and started Wheel on time.

^ That's unfortunate (the shooting). Was all of Wheel pre-empted, or did it return before it was over? 7:27 is pretty much when J!'s credits roll, so I would imagine people at least knew who won by the time they cut in. At least I don't see any tweets along the lines of: "@abc10 How dare you cut off the end of Jeopardy?! Alex Trebek only has a few episodes left! Wait until Wheel of Fortune next time!!  " Tonight's episode is in Christian Dixie's YouTube playlist (along with every other episode so far this season), uninterrupted, for anyone who needs it (recorded by me off WABC which aired it in full, thankfully). |

Philly has the only known pre-emption for Monday.
WPVI is only airing Wheel at the standard 7:30 two days this week. Scheduling for this week is still not 100% clear, but it appears to be as follows:
Monday: Airing on WPVI-DT2 (Localish) due to The Disney Holiday Singalong moving an hour early on WPVI only.
Tuesday: Airing at the normal time.
Wednesday: Airing Thursday at 7:30 PM due to the annual special Philly Celebrates the Holidays on Wednesday.
Thursday: Airing Friday night/Saturday morning at 2:30 AM.
Friday: Airing Friday night/Saturday morning at 3:00 AM due to a holiday shopping special.
Said holiday shopping special will also be airing on most if not all of the ABC O&O's on Friday in Wheel's time slot. Funny that ABC is finally giving Wheel its primetime debut, yet keeps pre-empting it with specials on its O&O's while leaving the other show alone. Seems like they're still treating Wheel as an afterthought.

The NFL has officially announced that the Ravens/Steelers game will air on NBC at 8:00 PM Eastern on Tuesday, December 1. The game has been postponed again. It is now slated for Wednesday at 3:40 PM Eastern. I assume the game will be slotted until 7:00, since the original Thanksgiving game was slotted for 8:00-11:30 with kickoff at 8:20. Wednesday's game could affect 7:00 PM Eastern airings of Wheel (that aren't pre-empted by the optional early coverage of the Rockefeller Center tree lighting), and probably some 6:30 Central airings if stations still choose to run their 6:00 news for 30 minutes if the game runs long. If stations choose to move NBC Nightly News to 7:00 or 7:30 Eastern like some did when NBC's coverage of the US Open pre-empted it on the East Coast, that could affect Wheel in even more markets. Next Sunday's Washington/Steelers game has also been moved to Monday, December 7 at 5:00 PM Eastern. Broadcast networks for that game are TBA, but if that one stays on NBC, Wheel's first Secret Santa episode this season will be pre-empted on two of the Big Four networks by football. |

Washington Steelers game will be broadcasted on Fox at 5:00.
Cowboys Ravens game has been moved from Monday 12/7 to Tuesday 12/8 at 8:05 on Fox and NFL Network.
Patriots and Rams play on Thursday 12/10 on Fox and NFL Network at 8:20.
All this means Fox is getting preempted 3 times next week. Even more bad news it's Secret Santa week

Since it was postponed, this Thursday's FOX NFL game has been replaced with an MLS Soccer game. Fortunately, pregame starts at 8:00 Eastern, so Wheel will be fine on the East Coast, but it looks like it's pre-empted entirely on KDVR Denver; Jeopardy! is listed at 8:30 Mountain between the game and 9:00 news and Wheel isn't listed at all. Ugh!

well the CBS Houston feed was potentially supposed at go out at 8 PM eastern but The Neighborhood is airing as normal so whatever Dispute was going on may have been resolved.

yeah. Just Now getting to TPIR today and it says it may go off at 7 PM Eastern Tomorrow. It may be more than just my Affiliate that is effected.

Nothing listed for today besides Nashville. However, New York viewers should be ready to switch to Localish tonight (cc: gameshowfandanny). A charity special titled "Heroes of New York" is airing from 7-8 PM Eastern on all the New York stations, but WABC still has J! and Wheel listed. I have All Good at 7:30 on Localish set to record just in case WABC does air the special. |
