it did go out Today for Tegna people who have Uverse/Direct Tv , so ill be with out wheel for a few days, thankfully the other 2 shows i can watch on the CBS All Access App they are network shows, not Syndicated.

That special is on all the ABC O&O's, in Wheel's time slot on all of them. WABC will be moving it to Localish. KABC, as expected for the locals' sake, will delay Friday's ep to Saturday and drop the rerun.
Evelyn from WABC explained to me that this has nothing to do with Wheel of Fortune, but because its time slot is best for revenue, and ABC has been struggling with generating revenue during the pandemic from things such as the Disney Parks being closed for a while. There are no O&O specials planned after this anytime soon.
Understandable, but still infuriating that this takes away from Wheel's ratings but not Jeopardy!'s. When the O&O's pre-empted Wheel for an entire week of repeats of ABC World News, Wheel's ratings were down more than 30%. And this shopping special is airing at least 10 times over the weekend on the Localish channel anyway.

As noted earlier, WPVI Philadelphia is pre-empting Wheel with its annual holiday festival. The episode will air either delayed to tomorrow night or at 2:30 AM Saturday (both of these airings are listed as Thursday's episode). The second of three pre-emptions this week in this market alone.
ATTN CDixie : WANE Fort Wayne might be pre-empting Wheel with a repeat of their "Veterans' Voices" special that aired on Veterans Day, with Wheel airing at 1:37 AM. However, this may be a mistake, as their website has Wheel at the normal time. (EDIT: Wheel did air)
Many NBC stations are potentially affected on Wednesday. A postponed NFL game is scheduled to run until 7:00 PM Eastern. If it runs long, 7:00 airings of Wheel will be cut off or skipped, and likely some 6:30 Central airings if the station chooses to run a full 30 minutes of local news delayed from 6:00. Also, WDIV in Detroit and possibly others in the Eastern Time Zone are opting to air delayed local newscasts at 7:00, pre-empting Wheel regardless of whether the game runs over or not.
The Rockefeller Center tree lighting optionally begins at 7:00 PM Eastern and Pacific (this is the reason why the NFL game was scheduled so early), but most do not begin it until 8:00.

Tonight's Wheel is pre-empted on WHP in Harrisburg, PA (CBS) by a COVID special that's airing on some Sinclair-owned Pennsylvania stations (WATM in Johnstown is also one of these and is a Wheel affiliate, but I do not have access to it and there is no indication of the special on their social media). This station is often used for bot recordings of Wheel, designated with the white "CBS 21" logo. Wheel is still listed on all sources, but it might air at 1:37 or 2:07 AM. (EDIT: It aired at 1:37)

Found another one... WCNC in Charlotte, NC (NBC) pre-empted Wheel at 7:30 with a makeup of their 6:00 news due to the NFL game... even though they aired Jeopardy! as normal at 7:00!  That was definitely done on purpose. |

Since it was postponed, this Thursday's FOX NFL game has been replaced with an MLS Soccer game. Fortunately, pregame starts at 8:00 Eastern, so Wheel will be fine on the East Coast, but it looks like it's pre-empted entirely on KDVR Denver; Jeopardy! is listed at 8:30 Mountain between the game and 9:00 news and Wheel isn't listed at all. Ugh! I called KDVR the other day to ask about this. Wheel will air at 2:00 AM Mountain, though it is still listed as a repeat of the 10:00 news. Jeopardy! will be joined in progress if the soccer game runs long, but at least Wheel is guaranteed to air in full. Heads up to bevy and GameShow75 ; even though you didn't sign up for notifications, I figure you two should know. Also, KHON Hawaii will air Wheel at the normal 6:30, but it will be joined in progress if the game runs later than 11:00 PM Eastern/6:00 PM Hawaii, following a half hour of news. Besides those two, FOX airings of Wheel are good tonight. |

This is going to be a really messy Secret Santa period with all the football makeups... I'll organize it better later in the week, but here's the rundown for Monday...

FOX's game overran over half an hour, sliding back the primetime lineup accordingly. Late airings of Wheel will mostly be affected by this. Make sure you set your DVR to record at least two shows after Wheel.
ABC's game overran less than 10 minutes. KOTA Rapid City managed to show the Bonus Round, and I doubt Wheel will be slid back or skipped anywhere else. KOMO Seattle usually has a 30 minute minimum for post-sports newscasts, and I doubt KGO will run its postgame show past 9:00 or its local news past 10:00.
On a different note, WSYT Syracuse is airing tomorrow's Wheel early at 6:00 PM Eastern. I plan to stream this airing on Twitch.

Yup, not happy with football almost every night of the week on Fox now! I was SO GLAD 2 years ago that I did not pick the Thursday taping slot since it’s always pre-empted on Thursdays in the fall in Denver. Viewing parties at 2 am would really suck.

The Tuesday FOX game overran about 15 minutes. Hawaii only aired the Triple Toss-Up onward.
EDIT: Although not listed, WDAF Kansas City did air Wheel after the news as always. I checked at 11:20 Central and TU2 was starting.

Wheel's least reliable city, Boston, is pre-empting it the next two days in a row. Patriots All Access moves to Wednesday this week, and Thursday has a Patriots pregame special since the Pats play in tomorrow's FOX game. WBZ, not giving a single **** that they're pre-empting Secret Santa episodes, will air Wednesday's and Thursday's episodes at 1:37 AM Eastern. Friday's episode is at the regular time this week.
Tonight's Wheel is not airing at all in most of Connecticut due to a COVID vaccine special tonight on WTNH.

Thursday: FOX stations again (except 7:00 airings), Boston again... and Wheel's second-least reliable city, Nashville. WKRN is pre-empting Wheel with a special titled "Wilson County: The Good, The Bad, The Future". Wheel will air at 12:36 AM Central. (EDIT: Wheel actually did air on WKRN, despite a special being listed) Wheel is not airing at all in Hawaii tonight; it's usual Thursday slot of 8:00 PM is pre-empted by part of the Miss Hawaii pageant. In past years, stations were usually more careful about pre-empting Secret Santa episodes or would at least post the SPIN ID's online if they had do. Now, all they have to say is "Go to wof.com and you can check your ID there."
At least tomorrow's episode will be the first in several weeks to not be pre-empted in any markets, assuming nothing suddenly comes up.

Any CBS viewers who want a Weekend Wheel fix, College Football is only scheduled until 6:30 PM Eastern this Saturday, and it looks like the game finished on time, so most East Coast CBS's that normally don't get to air Wheel on Saturday will be able to today.
