Season 29 Taping/Airing Schedule & Information

Small update regarding the Secret Santa Sweepstakes shows. According to a contestant from that week on FB, the sixth show for the first week will air Monday 11/21 instead of airing all 12 consecutive shows in order.



The show hasn't said anything for today yet, but I imagine today's shows are for 11/14-18 and 22.

I'm thinking maybe that out of order makes sense, rather than it be Nov. 7 - 14 and Nov. 15 - 22 on the same day, so that way it's a full week. This makes me wonder if the two weeks will have different sets, with Nov. 21 the first set and Nov. 22 the second.




I think it being Sandals Romance makes total sense. We do know that after Secret Santa, Sandals Golf Getaway is the next to tape, and it also makes sense to tape both Sandals weeks back to back, since I'm sure they'll have the same set. I'm guessing Oct. 27 will be Golf Getaway, and Oct. 28 Sandals Romance.



There was never a season with more than one Sandals week, and interestingly enough there was no Sandals last season. The only two there were, the one from Season 26 (April 27 - May 1, 2009) and Season 27 (February 22 - 26, 2010) were single players. And I'm guessing that Golf Getaway is single players.



I'm starting to think that, since they do each 6-show taping 3 at a time, maybe there'll be only three Wheel Loves NY episodes, and we know there are 5 weeks that we know won't have 6th show tapings. Because remember, we know there are 5 America's Game weeks, it takes 6 weeks to make a 6th show taping, 6 times 5 is 30, there are 39 weeks per season, 39 - 30 = 9, and 4 Portland weeks, and 9 - 4 = 5. So maybe this takes care of 3 of the 5, with two mystery weeks. I still wonder, since both Fabulous Food and Wheel Goes Country are back to back, both southern themed weeks (and they've had both weeks in southern locales), and at a time of year of on the road locales, those two weeks will tape on the road somewhere. I'm also wondering if just maybe Fun & Fit taped only four episodes, which could explain one of the mystery two weeks. Though I doubt it, since we heard from someone who was at the Nov. 1 - 3 taping. Is there anyone who was at the Wheel Loves NY taping that could answer this question?

Probably a miscommunication... hmm.

...OK, what? They better not be slotting around these Secret Santa episodes for dramatic effect or anything.

Very similar sets for both Sandals weeks... blah.

It would be nice if Wheel had flashback clips like shows #4996-5000 again that week.

I am very displeased that they would shift everything around for sweeps... and that probably means the Camaro is there for all 12 days as well, making a 12 day "week"...

My theory was that they wanted to front-load the Sweepstakes episodes with BR wins to keep people interested out of the gate.

OK, so after a LOT of research, including paying close attention to the audience pans, news articles, and hearing from another contestant, this is the best I could narrow down the original airdates of all Secret Santa shows.



I know Mindy's cousin implied 11/18 was the 11/7 show, but this article states that Gina's show (aired 11/9) was originally 11/7. I trust the latter source more.

Weird. Where did Wheel Goes Country disappear to?
