I’m also hoping that the logo is some sort of throwback to the 80s; using the traditional logo instead of the two-row. And hopefully it’s something other than silver, honestly. Speaking of the logo, I hope they won't reuse Season 39's title card for next season like they did with the S37 logo and reused it for S38 (though that could've been because S38 was Mike Richard's first year as the new EP succeeding Harry Friedman). That being said, I would like to see these other changes implemented: - new toss-up wipe graphic (remember when they used to change it every 1-3 years: the first one was only used in S18, second one used S19 & S20, third one only in S21, fourth one S22 & S23, fifth one lasted S24-S26, fifth one S27-S32 but brought back for S35 & S36, sixth one S33 & 34, seventh & current one used since S37) - express cue & final spin cue get refreshed (just like in S25 when the last of Steve Kaplan's cues were retired) |

I'm sure there will be a glitzy "40th Anniversary" title card like there was for Seasons 20, 25, 30, and 35. Then we'll see if they just remove those two words for Season 41.  |

It would also be cool if they remastered the Dancing Wedges Sequence from 1992 with today's 4k Technology! And about the frequent color of silver, that has become another boring color on the logo. Right now, if anything, I'm betting they'll switch back to gold for Season 40. But wouldn't it be cool if they used Rainbow for the first time? Lol. I would also love to see them use the traditional version more often than the two row. OR they can find a way to reinstate AND remaster the 1989-1992 logo with today's 4k Technology as well. Let's not forget about that one!  |

That reminds me of the how they did the Dancing Wedges sequence in 1992 & 1993. They showed the "10th Anniversary" title card at the beginning during Season 10. Then it was removed or edited out during Season 11. By the way, I believe with today's graphics, they can go back and remaster the Dancing Wedges Sequence for the 40th Anniversary! In fact, I can see it happening right now. |

There is at least one other thing that I believe should be updated on Wheel for Season 40: The Name Tags! They haven't been updated since the very debut of the new puzzleboard in 1997!

However, they didn't reuse the S35 opening sequence in S36; instead they went back to the S34 intros but with slight modifications. |

Increase the bonus round grand prize (non-million) to $250,000. $100K was huge for its introduction in October 2001, but nowadays the amount seems "dated". Would love to see an overhaul with the bonus round amounts, maybe even discontinue the season minimum and just make it 40K.

I think $250,000 might be a little too high, to me $100,000 is still a very nice top prize besides the million. Adding in $75,000 would be nice though.
Definitely agree about adding in 4-digit dollar amounts to the wheel. I'd even say add $2,000 to the wheel for round 4.

Jeopardy is bringing back studio audiences for its 39th Season. So I am wondering if Wheel is going to do the same thing for S40, and if these other changes are going to be implemented:
- Contestants with wedges picked up from the wheel give them to Pat after hitting Bankrupt.
- The white things used to spin the wheel get retired.

Unless there are any modifications planned to take place in the time since this TripAdvisor review from this month, it doesn't look like there will be any set changes for the anniversary season. I'm guessing the celebrity episodes will also be aesthetically closer to the syndicated shows unless the set designers overhaul the static elements of the contestant backdrop. Speaking of which, anybody know when those shows are scheduled to tape? |

I think taping starts late July-early August. I wasn’t expecting set modifications honestly, but something tells me they might use the same layout for the wheel; caught a glimpse; got me worried. 😟
