The press conference went until 8:30 ET on all networks. All 6:00 MT airings of Wheel (KKTV, KGWN, and KOTA) were pre-empted. Primetime and late night programming is delayed 30 minutes on ABC and FOX, while CBS and NBC joined their lineups in progress.
All Montana CBS stations ran their 5:30 newscasts at 6:30 MT in place of Wheel (J! was pre-empted outright, and CBS Evening News airs at 5:00 MT). All other 6:30 MT airings of Wheel were not affected, including on stations such as KRQE that often prioritize running J! in its entirety when live events spill past 6:00.
Two of tonight's contestants were locally affected by tonight's events; Jacqueline watches on WABC and Joey on WWNY, both 7:30 ET airings.

^ Wheel did air on WTAP in Parkersburg, WV (NBC) and, according to someone on Twitter, at least one CBS affiliate at 7:00 ET. West Coast airings were gone as well.
WROC had Wheel pre-empted by a Nexstar special titled "Destination France" with Wheel at 2:35 AM ET; Wheel did air at that time.

#S-7976 through 7979RR are pre-empted in the Pacific Time Zone and Alaska for the Republican National Convention. Most if not all affiliates are moving Wheel to 10:00 or 10:30 PM PT. If the RNC overruns (which both it and the DNC did almost every night in 2020), the network primetime programs at 8 and 9 PM air late in their entirety, and most stations with Wheel at 10:30 will JIP it after running J! in its entirety, while 10:00 airings of Wheel will get JIP'd. KABC has Wheel at 10:00. I expect at least Monday's will overrun given what happened over the weekend. This will result in #S-7979 being pre-empted twice on West Coast ABC's.
Fortunately, no contestants on these episodes are affected since the week's only contestant based in the Pacific Time Zone is on Friday.
Also for this week, #S-7977RR is pre-empted on FOX for the MLB All-Star Game, with coverage starting at 7 ET. WSYT is airing Wheel an hour early at 6.
Friday's episode is #S-7980, whose original airing was pre-empted on ABC affiliates for the NFL Draft. For some markets, this will technically be a new episode, including on contestant Travis' station WRIC which did not air the original airing at all.

Not sure how Night 3 fared, but the final night overran 80 minutes.
Because it went so long, ABC opted to completely skip Thursday's new episode of Press Your Luck on the West Coast feed, and ran only the premiere of Lucky 13 in its entirety from about 9:20-10:20 PT. Most airings of Wheel were JIP'd during the Speed-Up. CBS airings were apparently wiped completely, as Big Brother fans on Twitter claimed that the West Coast airing started at 10:15 PT.
The Crowdstrike outage late last night affected several stations, including KOMO Seattle. Shortly after Wheel was JIP'd, it went to a black screen during the commercial break before the Bonus Round, then it switched to the ABC network feed until the following morning.

The Olympics start on Friday The opening ceremonies are Friday, July 26 (#S-7875RR). They will air live from 2-6 PM ET, and the primetime encore is scheduled for 7:30-11:30 PM, affecting all 7:30 airings of Wheel and likely some 7:00 airings that will replace it with a certain other game show or additional local Olympic specials like what WXIA does. The Olympic Zone, for stations that opt for it, begins Saturday, July 27, and will air at 7:30 ET Mon-Sat through August 10. This year, NBC's daytime coverage runs until 6 PM ET, meaning there's virtually no time slots available for syndicated programming except 7:00 ET. Another note about 7/26: there is no room overnight to make up programs. There's a 98-minute window at 11:30 ET for local news and Fallon, then a straight run of Olympics coverage from 1:08 AM ET to 6:00 PM Saturday. KSDK St. Louis does not have Friday's Wheel scheduled at all. However, they are not starting Olympic Zone until Monday 7/29, so Wheel will still air at 6:30 CT on Saturday 7/27 (listed as S40 rerun). Starting 7/29, Wheel will air at 3:30 AM CT (following J!) late weeknights and 4:00 AM CT on Sundays 8/4 and 8/11. WDIV Detroit is not airing Wheel on Friday because they're replacing it with J!. However, they do not appear to be doing Olympic Zone this year. Wheel is listed at the normal time (7:00 ET on weekdays, 7:30 on Saturdays) for the entire Olympics. As with previous years, WCNC Charlotte is not airing Wheel at all starting Friday. This affects a contestant on the rerun for Saturday 7/27. WXIA Atlanta and WTHR Indianapolis both opt to pre-empt the full 7:00 hour, moving Wheel to their sister stations (WATL and WALV) for the entire Olympics, including Saturdays. WBRE Wilkes-Barre, in past years, always kept Wheel as-is, but this year, they are replacing it with J! on most days (yet another station doing this, even when J! goes into reruns on the 29th...). In the Wilkes-Barre market, starting 7/26, Wheel will air at 5:30 PM ET on sister station WYOU (CBS) on weekdays, replacing one episode of Judge Judy. On Saturdays, Wheel will still air at 7:00 ET on WBRE. WPXI Pittsburgh is also replacing Wheel with J! for the entire Olympics and doesn't appear to be airing Wheel at all. CBS and ABC had coverage for about an hour I know CBS went the whole 8PM ET hour with coverage. FOX and NBC did not go the full hour and depending when coverage ended on those 2 networks, Wheel was either JIP'd or skipped on Mountain/Arizona timezone stations.

Couple more notes about the Olympics:
WHO Des Moines, which did not air The Olympic Zone in previous years, is doing so this year, with Wheel airing at 3:00 AM CT (and J! at 3:30).
KNVN in Chico, CA is apparently opting to air the Olympics on a three-hour delay, so their schedule is the same as the typical East Coast affiliate, with a break for news at 6:00 PM and Wheel still airing as normal at 7:00 PM PT. In previous years, KNVN did air the Olympics live and aired both Wheel and J! at 4:30 AM, alternating the show each day.

Yep. Wheel is moved to 10:00 or 10:30 PM in all Pacific Time Zone markets Mon-Thu. If the DNC runs over (which it very likely will, especially on Thursday), Wheel will be joined in progress or skipped over, regardless of which half of the hour it's slotted in, on most stations.
Since this week's reruns are from early in Season 40, 8 out of 12 contestants are affected by this (seven from LA and one from Las Vegas). Two of the four episodes did rerun earlier this season, though.
