WEEKLY FOOTBALL SEASON PRE-EMPTIONS:Tuesdays- WKRN Nashville by The Mike Vrabel Show (WOF airs at 12:06 AM CT)
Fridays- WBZ Boston by Patriots All Access (WOF airs on WSBK)
Saturdays- Most Saturday airings of WOF will not be seen during football season due to college football games on all four networks on most Saturdays.
- On days where CBS has an afternoon game but no evening game, all 7:00 PM ET airings on CBS affiliates not pre-empted by local news do not air in their entirety due to CBS's afternoon college football broadcasts almost always running past its scheduled 7:00 PM end, mainly due to postgame discussion. Some 7:30 PM ET/6:30 PM CT airings on CBS affiliates following local newscasts likewise do not air in their entirety due to overrun from college football causing local news to run a full 30 minutes before going to Wheel (e.g. WCCO Minneapolis). This varies depending on station. Some stations (e.g. KHOU Houston) do not run the news past 7:30/6:30c even if they start late.
- December 30 and January 6 will be pre-empted on most ABC affiliates due to Monday Night Football-branded NFL games.

All FOX airings of #S-7819 are pre-empted by MLB, with pregame starting at 6:30 PM ET, so the two affiliates that usually move Wheel an hour early will not be doing so today.
In Denver, Wheel moves from KDVR to KWGN (CW). This is an improvement over last season, where KDVR would schedule Wheel at 8:30 PM MT, half an hour after the game's scheduled end. About half the time, the show would not air in its entirety in this time slot. KDVR now puts two reruns of Judge Judy after the game.

If a game ends after 6:00 but before 6:30, it is not yet known if 6:00 newscasts will have a hard stop at 6:30 to allow World News Tonight to run a full half hour, or if WNT will truncate to allow local 30-minute newscasts after the game (e.g., local news runs from 6:15-6:45 and WNT from 6:45-7:00). I've seen NBC do the latter in the past. In any case, the 6:30 feed of World News Tonight likely won't go past 7:00. I would think there is a possibility of stations doing 6:00 newscasts at 7:00 if the 6:00 slot is entirely pre-empted by overrun, though.

Not sure that it ever happened that way, usually only things that ran over to say 6:15 or 6:20, so then the 1/2 hour of local and a tiny bit of world news and back to normal for Wheel (since that is at 7 here, with Jeopardy at 7:30). |

#S-7835 was pre-empted on Mountain and Pacific CBS stations by NWSL Soccer, which ran from 8:00-10:30 PM ET. Wheel was not moved from 7:30 PT on KLAS Las Vegas, meaning it may have not aired in its entirety. KVAL Eugene moved it to 10:00 PT right before the same episode of The Neighborhood that aired at 10:30 on the East Coast so that may have been affected as well. KBAK slotted it at 8:30 PT following news and J!, and followed by the syndicated version of Dateline, so Wheel likely still aired in its entirety there.

#S-7837 was pre-empted on all FOX affiliates by an ALDS doubleheader from 3-11 PM ET. However, WVUE New Orleans still had J! and Wheel listed at their normal times in place of the pregame show for the second game, meant to bridge the gap between the two games. If this was correct, Wheel definitely would have aired at least partially since the first game was over before 7:30 ET.

#S-7841 is pre-empted outright on FOX for 7:00 ET airings. ALCS Game 2 is scheduled from 3:30-7:30 ET. Most if not all 7:30 airings of Wheel are not being moved to other time slots, so Wheel very likely won't air in its entirety in those markets. This includes WLUC-DT2 in Marquette, MI, a FOX affiliate that only airs Wheel on Mondays due to a weekly local program on NBC affiliate WLUC.
Denver won't be affected unless the game runs more than an hour over. Late night airings will slide if the game goes past 8:00 ET.

The 7:30 ET slot was completely wiped on FOX. The game ended a bit after that time and postgame was aired all the way to 8:00, so the network never signed off.

The Vikings are playing in MNF tonight. In the past, WCCO would often pre-empt Wheel for pregame coverage, but since all of MNF this season airs on their competitor KTSP, they are not doing so this time, or presumably at all this season.

ABC was the only network that broke in, doing so as soon as the show faded to commercial after the first Bonus Round. The show returned while the H's were being revealed in the second game's Round 1.
