Ryan’s Instagram said that this was from “a few months ago”, so this must have been taping during one of their themed weeks. The set would be done by next Thursday, which is when taping resumes. I don’t think it’s done yet.

The video Ryan posted was from last October. The log cabin set was used for Great Outdoors and Winter Wonderland last season, both of which taped in mid-late October.

and now, unblurred confirmation of what we probably surmised: the classic border shape is back!

From the post, it seems like Wheel could be doing a mixture of old and new for their new set. We’ll know exactly once taping continues next week. Something tells me the bonus wheel might get a redesign as well.

That, we will know soon. My guess is that the board itself will remain the same as the previous seasons with the LIDAR, but the borders will be changed.

I'm following Connelly on Threads. He said this the other day. www.threads.net/@jpconnelly/post/C9vbFEXyQb_I'm sure many will see for themselves just how everything is as soon as tomorrow when the first episodes tape with the new set. I'm also looking forward to seeing how it's all colored up when the Celebrity episodes tape in September.

I'm wondering when photos of the new set get posted to social media. Can't find them on Instagram

I wasn’t at the taping, but I did see on Reddit that the audience had their phones confiscated, so I don’t think there will be any pics of the set until Wheel themselves posts. I’m also guessing they were told to sign an NDA so that nobody spills the beans about any set details.

I did not attend the tapings either, but I read another comment on Reddit from someone that claimed to have attended the tapings. According to that someone, non-disclosure agreements were indeed signed.
With the leaked information, however, I had some ideas as to how certain things may look like, but I'd rather not say anything in case I'm proven wrong. All that said, we're just going to have to wait. I know there are some people out there who say they can't wait, but I'm not among those people unless it's truly urgent. When it comes to something as unurgent as this, however, I can definitely wait. Besides, I've waited much longer for certain things such as that Live Play game of mine. If I can wait more than fifteen years to get my hands on that, I'm way past certain we can wait a few months to see what the new set will look like. We just have to be patient, but it's for sure we can all say we're looking forward to seeing it.

Is the broadcast order such that episodes taped with the new set will be aired before the shows taped with the old set? Unlike J! or any show with returning champions, Wheel has the flexibility to meddle with its taping/airing continuity, but it would be unusual watching some weeks with the new set followed by others with the old one.
TPiR did something similar when it aired episodes out of order in Season 42 when the new turntable was furnished mid-season, though given what we know so far, the magnitude of Price's set change paled in comparison to what we are expecting from Wheel this fall.

^Yes, the episodes that taped on Thursday will be airing at the beginning of the season, with episodes for the new season taped prior airing later on. This was done likely so that the first episodes we see have Ryan with a little more experience hosting under his belt. The same was done on Price is Right when Drew Carey started, his first aired episodes were taped after his actual first recorded episode and that episode didn't air until several months later.

The irony of the taping order is that I saw more issues (couple edge cases came into play) with everything over the past two tapedays than I did back on his first day in May.
I'm told that Thursday's taping session got out at 9:15 and that it was probably the longest tapeday in Wheel history.

WWE week finished taping at 8 or 8:30 IIRC. The Thursday show in particular ran rather long, including several botched final spin attempts.
