Heelsrule1988? Anyway, I don't mind. Flattery will get you everywhere these days...although I really have nothing to offer And...I decided that even though I blew it on my episode, I'm not leaving BAV - looks like I'm here to stay. I think it mostly had to do with the fact that you all were rooting for me even when I screwed up. So thank you!

What do you mean "epic loss"? You did your best, and it was much better than many others could have done. You're lucky you managed to surpass $10,000 in the maingame without needing any prizes.

I didn't think you guys would ever let me live down my epic loss!!! Nah...I'd have banned anyone who royally bashed you. I am never letting you live down WISHING BOWL, though. Of course, if I ever go on Wheel and have my own stupid missolve, I'd expect exactly the same from you guys. After all, if you can't laugh at your own failures, what CAN you laugh at?

I can totally laugh at myself - I expected you guys to make fun of my wishing bowl. I meant my inability to make it to the bonus round - that's what I was so upset about.

Sure, we sometimes come down hard on the ones that really deserve it (like SELF-POTATO), but something like WISHING BOWL could've happened to anybody in the heat of the moment and the O dud was just bad luck. So bear the good-natured ribbing with pride and enjoy your cash!
(Also, really glad you're staying on, Sanam - you're a true asset to our little community!)

OK, I've been thinking about Andre's buzzer incident. Is this a possible explaniation? After Sanam's missed guess, the show tried to block out Sanam's buzzer, however, mistakenly blocked out Andre's instead. No matter what happened, I was flabergasted that Andre just took it in stride. What was that all about? Someone suggested the show should send him $2,000. A mistake of that magnitude is more than a mere $2,000. Nancy took control of the board and that perfect round was all she needed. What if Andre had control? One could argue he would have had a perfect round. At the very least Nancy would not have had control. I think the only fair thing for the show to do would be give Andre his extra $2,000 and let him come back on a future episode. But without Andre complaining why should the show say or do anything? What do you all think about my theory of his buzzer being accidently blocked out?

Wouldn't the show have known about it though before the episode aired?

I'm thinking it's more along the lines of "They knew, but didn't care."
Yes, Wheel's a well-oiled machine, so long as nobody complains about the nonsensical stopdowns (video wall), bad editing (too many to list), oversights (this among others), or "Dafuq?"-worthy moments (Season 28 aside, the CO-WORKERS incident really smacks of "We said we'd change it, but he just told the answer to the red player; let's screw him over!").

What's the CO-WORKERS incident? On a 1998 episode, they accidentally flashed some blanks on the board just before they started taping the round. They were told to throw out the puzzle just as one contestant said to another, "I think it's CO-WORKERS." For some reason, they never actually threw out the puzzle and shot the round with the puzzle that had just been flashed; the second contestant called R and solved right away.
