Why are they still doing $5K Every Day Plus after the $1,000,000 win late last season? Getting rid of it would save $975,000!
(In fact, I haven't seen anything that indicates the show's trying to save money.)
Oh, and Wheel apparently can't come up with any other kinds of sweepstakes. By all indication, they're just using the same stuff as last season.

You know, as someone from Chicago, I wouldn't mind Sears (I don't mind if they use certain themes or sponsors either every season), but how about something from the public limited company, Willis Group Holdings, in order to try something new?

The S31 title card in HQ, but a small size (best I can find for now): There's a charity auction for a VIP taping experience including a meet-and-greet with Pat & Vanna and a hotel stay, for anyone who's interested: www.charitybuzz.com/catalog_items/391000?preview=1

This was linked by Game Show Follies, and it indicates there's more to come: Okay, nothing too bad. Bringing back the Sony Card bonus and actually having it make sense this time? I'm all for that. Pretty sure they've been doing this all throughout the summer reruns....

Is the final spin graphic the same as the past two seasons or is there a new one?

Same. There was even a glimpse of it on one of the monitors in the control room at the beginning of the Mark Corwin tribute.

Yo, does Jim "Master of the Tie" Thornton's tie have an image of the set in that picture?

Here's a pic showing the height of Express: {picture of Jim Thornton looking awesome} There's your April Fool's episode for this season -- have Jim host and Pat announce. Seriously, I'd watch it first-run if they did that. EDIT: Pat's interview asks about 6000 shows, and he acknowledges "at least 9000" shows including daytime. Hey, it's 100xx, but good job Pat! IT'S OVER NINE THOUS AAAAAAAAND!!! ( What, nine thousand?! )/from 2/29/12 // Wheel recycles theme weeks, I recycle comments ///said that last season, too

Now that the new season is here, no need for a long-ass thread anymore.
In fact, going forward, no more of these, okay? Stuff gets lost in them after ten or so pages. Make a new thread for each individual subject. Easier to follow.
The airdate schedule (and related posts) is going to be spun off into a separate, stickied post in the Recap section. The rest of this will be split into smaller threads when I get the time.
