Official Season 31 Information

The availability for each session on the site always seems to fluctuate.

Here's a picture from an audience member during what appears to be a stopdown during the Speed-Up round. The Wheel's colors have definitely not changed.

OK, everyone. I have a just finished a private Twitter interview with a contestant who taped today. I will not use their name at this moment. Here is all the info that was shared...

- Vowels are still $250

- "Didn't hear about" any new categories

- There are still three Toss-Ups in their usual places

- There doesn't appear to be any regular amounts higher than $900 still

- The Prize Puzzle is still there (-_-)

- 1/2 Car rules are the same and there are still two tags on the Wheel

- Mystery rules are the same

- There is some kind of change in the gameplay structure. They have chosen not to "spoil the fun of the change", but they thought "it was really cool". As soon as we find out more about this, from anyone, we'll post it ASAP.

I have told this person that we may give them more questions tomorrow. Anything anyone wants me to ask them tomorrow, please post here.

I asked if R1-3 was still structured as Jackpot/Mystery/Prize Puzzle and they replied "there is a change there". They have chosen not to be the one to reveal that change (yet, anyway), and think we'll find out about it anyway.

Well, I was hoping for $750 and $850 to make a return as well as $950 to make a debut, but from what MarioGS has told us, apparently, $950 is still waiting another season. $750 and $850? Don't know. I guess we'll find out as time goes on. As for that space right by the top value, MysteryWedge, it looks green to me after comparing it with other blue and green spots.

My questions:
* Is the Million-Dollar Wedge still present?
* Is the Wild Card still present?
* Is the Gift Tag still present?
* Is the Wheel Prize still present?
* Is the Mystery Prize still $10,000 cash?
* Is the Prize Puzzle offering non-trip prizes now?
* Are the Final Spin rules the same?
* Is the house minimum still $1,000?
* Has the Bonus Round been altered in some way?
* Has anything been done to make the show cheaper and get back at the $1,000,000 win late last season? (There's something being done, I can feel it. It's not like Harry to make winning stuff easier.)


Cue yet another season of people (especially me) getting pissed off at Friedman's bottom-notch puzzle-judging skillz.


Could Wheel please go a whole two seasons without changing something involving gameplay? -_- Also, "fun" and "cool" aren't exactly terms I've used in discussing the decisions of this braintrust.


In your rundown of what was shared, you mentioned not one thing about the Jackpot. Did your source note any change on that front (wedge redesign, starting value changed, being present for more than one round, etc.)?

Since I really don't care about being spoiled (something I've stated multiple times in the past two years), I'd love to know what the gameplay structure alteration is (via PM, of course). I'm not one to share this kind of stuff, so you can be assured that it won't go past me.

Yeah, you're right -- removed the audio/video-related questions, kept the ones regarding gameplay since this person clearly knows some stuff about that.

Well that's... interesting. It's not bad, it just doesn't jive to me - I think I almost prefer the S29 logo to that.
