The "move to CBS" thing means that Wheel is moving stations in the Vegas market. It currently airs on KSNV (NBC), but starting next season, it will air on KLAS (CBS).

Didn't Wheel Of Fortune used to be on CBS and then it moved from CBS to NBC in 2006 or 2007. And now it's moving back to CBS at the start of it's 31st Season? Why would it move back to CBS and not stay on CBS from the beginning?

I still wish to this day. If only the 5000th show was a special reminiscing show rather than a regular old gameplay episode, let alone one with a $100,000 loss.  I have to wonder which was quieter - the 5000th show or Season 29. Hopefully the staff learned their lesson and have these special milestone shows be good ol' retro stuff. I wish Wheel Of Fortune would celebrate their 5,000th or their upcoming 6,000th episode in a big way. Like how The Price Is Right celebrated their 7,000th and 7,500th episode in a big way. |

Here's a brief video of the empty venue and part of the set, which appears to be identical to the most recent Vegas remotes, except with the usual blue neon instead of yellow/orange. In Harry's quest to save money, they've gotten rid of the Jackpot and decreased the Wheel's total value by $50 by retiring $550. RIP $550 wedge (1970s?-2013) 1974, although it seems to have had some absences over the years. |

The $550 was only changed for the Gift Tag and they probably felt they didn't need to do anything else (just like when they decreased the green $700 to $500), though simply swapping the $550 and pink $500's values would have been the most logical thing to do. :effort:
$50 won't make a significant difference in the budget, but now a whole quarter of the Wheel layout is $500.

Well, now we know what the layout is going to look like for rounds 1 & 4. Rounds 2 & 3, however, are going to be quite a mystery. Also, I hate the fact that there are 6 $500 wedges. It reminds me of the 1999-2007 layouts by having 6 $300 wedges on the wheel. :tdown:

It's highly unlikely that either Mystery Wedge will move, and we know there's still a PP round so it will just be the R1 layout with $3500 and without the Prize wedge.
